    Sometimes I think about how Scott in his mind when he made this only thought about "random bucket stuff", and now to recreate the model we have to see every detail that Scott didn't see xddd

    I love that you most definatley payed more attention to detail than scott did

    using 2.79 is based

  • @Rifi_GD
    @Rifi_GD 20 днів тому +1

    Damn, the model looks great, pretty much identical. One question though, from what I've seen, many modelers prefer to use 2.79 over the updated versions of Blender. Why is this? Am I missing something important?

    • @Urall17
      @Urall17  20 днів тому +4

      Because the old render engine in 2.79 is closer to the Scanline renderer in 3ds Max, which is what Scott used. It's basically easier to create accurate looking materials and lights with the older version.

    • @Rifi_GD
      @Rifi_GD 20 днів тому

      @Urall17 ohhhh alr. I somewhat use 2.79. Not used to it yet, prefer 2.8+ but interesting nonetheless.

  • @foxzyx

    You use quite an old version of blender. Why is that?

    • @Urall17
      @Urall17  19 днів тому +1

      @@foxzyx I’ve explained it in another comment but basically it’s because of the internal render engine.
