(frequently asked for) mods visible in the video: Neko Lost + Tainted Lost, "The Beast but it's my dad" mod, Specialist Dance, Dogma Brimstone Lasers, Damage Multiplier Stat, and "Regret Pedestals" (this is the one that shows you the blind item you didn't take). AND the time machine mod (the one that makes the beggar donations go faster). AND the unintrustive pause menu mod.
This is one of my most satisfying tarnished keeper runs to date. Ok ignore everything past this point, while I'm late for this upload... I also wanna shove as many funny item names as possible in here; plus nobody will read it anyways: Early bird's eye and brimstone have such HUGE c section tech x POTENTIAL (even though it's not as good as ghost pepper), although a bit of a change of plans involving sacred heart and a missed opportunity of rerolling items with the d6 made this run a bit more dangerous than it should have been, not to mention holy light's synergy with perfection's 10+ luck which just ended up melting everything I came in contact with. With so many soy milk angel rooms and the combination of godhead and proptosis, including the ipecac (dunce cap) I was basically guaranteed to find sacred heart, crown of light, and many other OP items that made this run a free monstro's lung win featuring edmund mcmillen (who also created super meat boy)... And I'm totally not mentioning these items in the description just for keywords or anything, why would I ever do that? This paragraph is also ABSOLUTELY not copied from another one of my videos but with certain words changed to make sense in the context of this video, that would just be silly. Wow, did you really read all of that? I'm proud of you.
Ok since nobody's gonna read this... I can say that I'm 100% changing my YT username to just "Laven" for 2 reasons:
1. I hate how people mispronounce lavencas, it's supposed to be just like "Lavender Castle" if you remove the extra letters, but a ton of people put emphasis on the VEN which sounds extremely weird to me and annoys me to no end
2. Some of you also seem to think the L is an i but WHYYYYYYY
I was thinking of rebranding to a different name entirely, but that's too much effort and a lot of people would be confused sooooo... yeah. Also fun fact the name lavencas was kind of a placeholder until I thought of something that sounded better, but my channel exploded way faster than I would've ever imagined and by that point it was too late...
Dunno when, but it'll happen (I've been saying this for months lmao)
fun fact: most of the captions you see on screen are synced up to music beats, its a really dumb thing I started doing recently but it just feels... right? takes a whole lot more effort to caption this way but I can't stop now lol

Using smelter on the toe instead of perfection made me laugh, especially when you said perfect time for it and I was certain you were gonna smelter perfection.
I knew I was gonna lose perfection sooner or later though
@@Lavencas could have went for mirror world and smelt perfection so that you'd have a trinket slot anyway
Smelting perfection doesn't do anything except free up the trinket slot, you still lose it after getting hit
@@spookyscarytruestories exactly. Better to smelt a mid trinket rather than having no trinket at all.
@@Lavencas I would do the same as well I have a skill issue and probably would lose perfection in a single room, so I would smelt luck toe so that smelter doesn’t lose any value the second I get hit even if it was out of my control. About the “Just don’t get hit dumba$$” arugement that’s unreasonable to expect a player to have no skill issue moments and some rooms are just bs and poorly designed.

8:44 you heard the specialist dance probably becayse you used Dice shard, and the D6 effect was given to it, by printer. So you rerolled twice, and on the first roll a q4 item might have shown up (maw, abyss, void, or even Brimstone...)
try to watch the video in 0.25, he only used the dice 1 time
@@fabri-ec1nl she didn't use d6 she used dice shard (1 reroll) who got the printer effect, hence another reroll so two rolls

About delir placement, you can actually predict it with mapping and following knowledge:
1) Floor max size is 13x13
2) Delir still needs a 2x2, even if it doesn't show on the map
3) This 2x2 must be adjacent to only one room (only one enterance)
I hope bird's eye back is fine after carrying this run so much

The walking thing from that glitch slot was a glitch gaper. It’s related to Tarnished Eden. If an enemy damages them that is what they turn into. If they touch an enemy it becomes another glitch gaper.

The enemy that u get to the glichted machine (epiphany mod) is called glichted gaper.
When,with tarnished eden,u take damage from a normal enemy,It will become a glichted gaper.

Kinda new to isaac, but any reasons to not use the trinket smelter on perfection?
Are we talking "In an ideal situation, is there a reason to not do this?" or are we talking "Is there ever a reason to not do this in actual gameplay?" These are two very different questions, and they've got very different answers.
In an ideal situation, where you have Perfection, a fully-charged Smelter, and either no other "This is an objectively good trinket, smelt it ASAP" trinkets that would have priority over Perfection or enough charges on the map to smelt all the other trinkets you want, there are reasons to not smelt Perfection. Luck doesn't benefit every build, and it doesn't guarantee strictly better room rewards, just rewards that are weighted by the game as "better" (e.g., higher chest spawn rate independent of Guppy's Tail). If you're low on keys, getting a golden chest as a room reward can be worse than a reward you don't need, because a golden chest can sometimes be a reward you don't need that costs a key. It also typically increases the proc rate of status effects, which can just end runs if you picked up Firemind or Explosivo without planning for an increased number of explosions.
If we're just talking about general reasons to not do it, though, there are way more reasons not to smelt it. You might not have the charge to do it, you might have better trinkets to smelt, you might not even need to smelt it to begin with due to Rock Bottom, you might have a build that dies if your Luck gets too high, you might not want a bunch of Chests as room rewards, etc.

Glitch machine iirc takes one of your resources at RANDOM and has a chance to give it back, give back two of them, spawn a glitched gaper or explode and give a glitch item 🤔

A mod I've been playing around with lately is the "Steal from shops" mod. Yes, you can steal from shops but after stealing the next shop will not have any passives/actives for sale, unless you hit the small chance of being forgiven(which still increases the overall price of items).
You also have to fight the shopkeeper after stealing, its a pretty cool mod!
