Didn't explain overmatching beyond '3x the size of the gun' but showing the glorious gun pen rng in wot is always fun to see it be a universal pain. telling people to look at the minimap and be more self aware of the team melting is also useful.
Sidescraping does require the player to bait a shot before fully peeking, so that you may return fire during their reload. Otherwise you inevitably expose a weakpoint, while they are ready to shoot you.
If you sidescrape as he has shown, depending on the tank, you are not exposing weak spots. If you are playing a maus or E-100 on the other hand then yes I agree baiting is needed or they will pen your cheeks 😄
@@Dreamw4lk3r If you are the kind of player who knows exactly how angling affects the armor of your tank and also exactly knows how much penetration the shells of the enemy tank have, you probably are at the point where you know about sidescraping already :p.
HE is so squishy, I hate to take a chance on it. Good tips for basic play. Also how about these tips for all the people I get teamed with: don't think you can take on three full health tanks when you're a one shot, and PLEASE wait for the enemy to come over the hill instead of charging over it yourself.
I know people dont usually wear camo nets. But if you do and sit behind a bush is that the same as doubled bushing? Or does the front bush have to be dark and the net means nothing?
The camo net does not act like a bush. If it is activated then it increases your tank's inherent camo rating (both before and after shooting). You can see these stat increases in-game as well, both in the comparator or see the green stat increases when you are placing the equipment. That being said, apart from some specific cases - like with the swedish td line - the exhause is nearly always the better choice!
not quite. The terminology is a bit confusing but basically if you can see through the bush (it means single bush) it only conceals your tank so long as you don't fire if the bush is solid (double bush) then it can conceal you while firing most of the time. Depending on the distance and enemy tank view range it is still possible you get spotted.

It takes practice to get comfortable with penning with HE. Those would be good tips for sure haha

Not sure if it helps when shooting, but it does help you to stay undetected when scouting

AP, Rule of thumb if you can't pen a large portion of the tank with HE (haul or turret) shoot AP.
