Battlefield 1 was the best in terms of immersion. It always felt so good to capture a sector, blow your whistle, and roll out with the boys to the next objective
They way I like to explain it is that they built a map inside a world. Something that bfv failed miserably at. The map that came closest to it was Iwo Jima, which kinda does it by itself
Operations were the best. Having lore and meaning behind the battle you are about to embark on made it more immersive to me so I actually cared about playing the objective and winning. I also liked taking points and advancing to new parts of the map that get unlocked as the game goes on.

I will just ALWAYS love the echoed cracking sound of rounds in this game. I used to fire the snipers on the desert map at nothing, just to hear the sound. Any time a game has that in there, I love it.
I guess I never paid much attention to that but you right the audio on this game is something else. The audio of enemy footsteps is normally on point too. Where a lot of games struggle with that

Bolt action rifles, lever action rifles, double barrel shotguns, break neck shotguns, normal revolver, akimbo revolvers, chain fed revolvers... If you like the western/cowboy feel I'd say give it a shot... Forewarning kinda hard and the player base can be toxic sometimes... General Sam is a good YT to check it out

Took me a couple nights (my buddy wanted to come along). I didn't know how to do all the cheating with recording software and isolating the wave or whatever, so I just taught myself Morse code. After that, it was pretty simple since the cypher decoders are available online. One of my best memories in the game.
Once i tried it, got stuck on second task... Seriously I was closer to getting that gun IRL and shooting myself in the head rather than unlocking it in Battlefield 1.

I use the same loadout, i can tell you it’s the best loadout i’ve ever used. Its just perfect, the peacekeeper is just the best handgun for me and the lever action rifle is one of the most accurate rifles in the game imo.
It's a shitton of fun if you k ow how to use it well and you gave the patience to get to know it. I have shit eyesight and am impulsive so it doesnt work too well for me. But I still recomend you try it out.
It largely depends on your skill level and comfort with that variant. Personally, my aim is cheeks. So I can't do well with it. But if you're good at snapping on to targets you can do pretty well with it tbh. It's fast fire rate is really helpful.

aggresive scout is both the most impressive and hardests loadout i've ever tried to use.
Makes you look like an absolute giga-chad when you close range headshot a 10-A hunter user though, totally worth it.
I only play aggressive scout with the Ross Rifle Infantry, No. 3 Revolver, Flare gun (Spot), and a periscope
