Nothing beats being there in person when the mighty Vulcan is howling so loudly that the ground shakes. But videos like this are all we will have soon, such a shame. Thank you for the upload.
Brilliant bit of filming - thank you for sharing. Apart from the usual magnificence of the plane itself - what about that landing? It wouldn't have cracked a glass!
***** That's a nice thought, but I understand the reason for this year being it's last in the air is due to the companies that give technical hands on support are withdrawing it at the end of this season. The two reasons being given are increasing costs and losing the technical know-how. The people who originally worked on them have retired etc. I assumed that without this support they won't be able to fly it. If it is anything like any other complex mechanical contraption, the worst thing for them is to stand idle not being used. Before very long you find systems seize up/stop working and the next thing you know it's NOT in an airworthy condition.I hope I'm wrong!

Great video, great camerawork. Gives a real feeling of being there. Thank you.
Thank you so much. This has to be the best video of the Vulcan I've ever watched. You really need to send it to TV stations !! Christine xx
