That day I started off keying in on vertical structure that was on the river channels. They were staging areas for pre and post spawn fish following the schools of bait. When I went to the grass in the afternoon, that was on a gut feeling. I knew that lake had some grass and I feel like there is always some fish in grass. The catfish tipped me off, they were there because there was baitfish there too! I went from fishing over 60’ of water to 2’ in the grass. I really just bounced around throughout the day, I even fished a few brush piles and one dock.

@@Masseyfishing yeah I fish watts bar pretty often but wasn’t familiar with anything I saw in that video, were you up the Tennessee or the Emory?
