Genesis 25:19-28( The Birth of Esau and Jacob)
" 19 These are the generation of Isaac, Abraham's son: Abraham father Isaac,
20 and Isaac was forty years old whe n he took Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel the Aramean of Paddan- aram, the sister of Laban the Aramean, to be his wife.
21 And Isaac
prayed to the LORD(😊❤)
for his wife, because she was barren. And the LORD granted his prayer, and Rebekah his wife😊❤ conceived😊❤.
22 The children struggled together within her, and she said,
" If it is thus, why is this happening to me?
So she went to inquire of the LORD😊❤.
23 And the LORD😊❤ said to her,
"Two nations are in your womb,
and two people from within you shall be divided;
the one shall be stronger than the other,
the older shall serve the younger( please read Romans 9:7-13😊❤
) ."
24 When her day to give birth were completed, behold, there were twins in her womb.
25 The first came out red, all his body like a hairy cloak, so they called his name Esau.
26 After his brother came out with his hand holding Esau's heel, so his name was called Jacob. Isaac was sixty( 60) years old whe n he bore them.
27 When the boys grew up, Esau was a skillful hunter, a man of the field, while Jacob😊❤ was a quiet man, dwelling in tents. ( Today are you also intent for Christ Jesus😊1st❤?)
28 Isaac loved Esau because he ate of his game, but Rebekah😊❤ loves Jacob😊❤. "( Genesis 25:19-28 ESV Study Bible, Today who do you think God😊100%❤ loves in Christ?( hint Romans 9:13) In Genesis 25:23b the phrase "... the older shall serve the younger"( Genesis 25:23b ESV Study Bible) lead to " prepare the reader( you and me in Christ) to expect that Jacob😊❤ will have a significant role to play in the development of the unique family line in Genesis. Normally, younger brothers were subservient to the firstborn male, who enjoy special previleges associated with the concept of primogeniture. On this reversal of human expectations,n see Romans 9:7-13."( ESV Study Bible )
Under the context of Romans 9:1-29( God😊100%❤'s sovereign Choice😊❤) with that in mind first then read ( or listen ) to
Romans 9:7-13
"7 and not all are children of Abraham😊❤ because they are his offspring,
but😊❤ through Isaac😊❤ shall your offspring😊❤ be named."
8 This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God(😊100%❤), but the children of the promise😊❤ are counted😊❤ as offspring.
9 For( Because😊❤) this is what the promise😊❤( a promised between God😊100%❤ and Abraham😊❤) said:
" About this time next year I will return, and Sarah😊❤ shall have a son( Isaac😊❤)."
10 And not only so, but also Rebekah😊❤ had conceived( Do you also remember this is also connected to what we had shared in Genesis 25:21b "... Rebekah his wife conceived."( Genesis 25:21bESV Study Bible) )
children by one man, our forefather Isaac😊❤,
11 though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad- in order that God😊100%❤'s purpose( God's purpose😊❤, not yours or mine but God's purpose😊❤) of election might continue,
not because of works
but(😊❤) because😊❤ of him😊❤

12 She was told, " The older will serve the younger."( quoted from Genesis 25:23b ESV Study Bible)
13 As it is written, " Jacob😊❤ I loved😊❤, but Esau I hated."( Romans 9:7-13 ESV Study Bible)
❤ you are so right. Too much gossip about who's holy and unholy. Let's pray for ALL!!!! Who is Jesus again? .,...,❤❤❤Taylor Swift is a good person. I know many aren't enjoying her presence because of such dramatic changes. Well, I am a lot like her. I fall short, sometimes stay there. Guess what? I'm not perfect!! I know that we are to be angry in life and not sin. We all know that. Even the non believers know that much. Guess what guys? Taylor Swift is still a person. And I will be the one to pray for her. She's a little misled and so am I. ❤I am pretty sure God still sent his son Jesus Christ for me. And he was sent for Taylor Swift too. ❤
