"WC" in relation to seafood and such means "wild caught" or "wild captured" as opposed to "farm raised". It could totally be referencing something different here, but that's the most plausible.

Hi David, As a dunk collector I love your reviews! I hope it’s ok if I correct you on the green. The green represents the garlic/parsley/shallot butter that gets added to the snail in the shell to cook them in the oven. Thx for making these great reviews!
i really love these Shoes and i am happy they are so available cause im gonna rock my pair and can get them when they are on sale if they go low enough i might triple or quadrouple on these absolute fire kicks
I'm glad nobody wanted these Escargot Dunk SBs. The colorway is a bit "odd", but the materials and theme are solid. I doubled up in a sz 13 for retail, which is something I haven't been able to do w/ a pair of Dunk SB lows since about 2016-2017 when Dunks were ice cold. Anyways, the Escargot Dunk SB lows look rad with green laces to match the sock liner. They also look solid w/ white laces to match the midsole. Why they didn't come w/ extras is beyond me, but luckily my Dunk SB obsession has lead to owning a whole shoebox full of fat oval laces in every color of the rainbow. I put 'em in almost everything to see how they look. These fat laces look dope in a lot of shoes. Everything from Puma Suedes to Amiri Skeles. They bring Bape SK8 Stas to life, too.
I think tons of people wanted these. people have been asking nike to make more shoes for years and they made more pairs.... instantly people are like "these are bricks" or "dunks are dead" so expect them to dial the numbers back. I am guessing but the idea is for hype product to not sit on shelves.
@@DavidBluetile I'm just happy to get a pair of the $120 shoes for less than $200 finally. It was so bad for me about 2 years ago that I switched over to BAPE SK8 Stas...because if I have to pay $250 or $300 for Dunks...I might as well get SK8 Stas that aren't mass produced for around the same $$$. I have 14 pairs of the SK8 Stas...and they do literally retail @ $300...
@@DavidBluetile yeah, man. I'm a sz13, which is really expensive for an old Dunk head. I've been buying these shoes since 2008. It has always been difficult to routinely get size 13s from the jump, but it got expensive around 8 or 10 years back. There was a "cold spot" for a couple of years...but then the Dunk blew up again. I've been at this a long time. Got some old pairs.... EDIT: As for the Bape Sk8 Stas...the material and build quality on these shoes are bonkers. Packaging is also bonkers. They're overpriced at $300...but they are incredibly nice kicks. No way in hell I'd tear 'em up skating in 'em, tho. They're way too expensive for that. ...and the Sk8 Stas really have no "technology". There's no fancy foam. There's no Zoom Air. It's just a pair of old school shoes with VERY high quality materials and build quality. ....and you're paying for the fact that BAPE was very popular 10+ years ago. lol
Apparently, as I’ve stolen from Reddit. “Wild Card” Apparently Nike SB has loosened whats considered a “Wildcard” SB to what extent I dont know, could now mean any general release/inline SB that uses higher cost of production materials thus leading to slightly less global units produced So now aside from the full pig suede hockey themed SB dunks any SBs tagged with WC on the box is considered a Wildcard SB
Pretty sure WC references the Wookiee Chewbacca. The colors are reminiscent of his home the forest planet of Kashyyyk. I could be wrong but there’s always a chance I’m right. Regardless, I love the shoes, regardless of there connection to Star Wars. I think the escargot was the cop out when they couldn’t get the green light from Lucas. I also have no explanation for the insoles. Hope this helps.
Green laces to match the tongue look really good
That's how im rocking mine

The Acronym WC is related to nike Dunks in general not this individual release so probably not any of these but clever
I didn’t think of that. When I think of WC, I think of water closet or restroom. But in Europe, they call bathrooms WC’s
@@Beetleejuicee what does the "acronym" (actually initials) "WC" mean, then? You've just spouted some nonsense.

Silver lace-tips were a nice touch
