Tribute To Dr. Mattie Moss Clark - Part 2

As many of you who know and don't know today Dr. Mattie Moss Clark birthday. She would have been 86 years old if God has planned for her to be with us this long. It's so much I can say about her, but one thing I can say is that she has me where I need to be in ministry and composition of music, in God and His word. That's why I love her so much because she touch my life not only through her recordings, but the kind of personality she had. They called her "The Perfectionist" because she wanted it done right. Her daughter Karen Clark Sheard said "She always said If you're doing something for God, you got to do it right" That's why I'm in love with her daugthers "The Clark Sisters" but that's a whole another story. She was the first to have choirs sing in harmony (3-4 parts approx.). Not only did she do that, she was the first have a choir to record. The first choir she organized in 1958 was "The Southwest Michigan State Choir." She has written and arranged songs for this choir that has touch not only their lives but million of peoples' lives all over the world. In this video I've posted one of her compositions entitled "It's My Earnes Plea" along with the second choir she organized called "The Michigan State Community Choir" I love you Dr. Mattie Moss Clark and I miss you dearly...
