Fantastic movie, totally different from other disaster movies. The concept of calamities caused by the snow globe is awesome. Very well made, recommend this movie.

This is not a disaster movie. The title doesn't fit at all. This is a suspense / supernatural thriller movie that should have been called "The Snow Globe". But it is definitely worth watching. You'll never look at a snow globe the same way again.

It was moronic trash, typical stupidity by ignorant people who have absolutely no concept whatsoever that "Christmas" isn't even a real thing, but is based solely in and on terrible, murderous pagan practices that are thousands of years older than Christ---who was NOT born in the winter, let alone late 'December'!

I have seen this movie before, and I was thinking what fools the people were, the dog tried to let them know what was going on, but the damned idiots just didn't want to listen because they thought that there was nothing wrong. When animals start acting nervous and don't act like they usually do, then you morons had better pay attention, because otherwise, it could cost you and others all of your lives. Thank goodness I pay attention to the animals and my own intuition.

Dogs have an innate ability to sense danger, whether it be be from nature itself but more importantly, from humans. If your dog reacts to a person/s in a negative way, take their cue, don’t trust them at all, it may cost you your life. I’m talking from personal experiences. Quite a few of the many dogs that l’ve had in my lifetime, have proven this to me, over many years. I’m now 70yo and currently have a German Shepherd Dog. He is my only trusted friend and l love him to bits.
Animals are great there extincts and 6 sense is spot on. My cat is great at this also she also knows when I am upset and she won't leave my side but cuddles into me.

I've watched several of these "cold" movies, and when people are exposed to the elements and freezing, they don't just put their hoods up on their coats or jackets. Can't figure out why. What's it there for? Hahaha. Great concept for a disaster movie. My favorite genre.
These shows are written by people who have never been outside, never seen snow or cold, never been a fight never seen a real gun or grenade. Have no idea how electricity works or vehicles...
So who left the snow globe. Could have told us . We need a sequel to get the bastard.

What happened to the snow boarder's mate? Was a bit of the movie missing? One moment they're together and disaster hits, the next there's just Derek, who happens to be by the snow plough at just the right time (who doesn't even seem the slightest upset about Greg, the one he says was "like a brother" to him, just casually laughing, joking, walkin n talkin with the daughter minutes later)??

Just came in, to find out if its worth watching?

Eerybody says this movie is special and better than the rest, but apart from a supernatural snow glass, what is different from other movies in the genre? The good guys in the protagonist movie has to go through all kinds of trouble and the girl becomes totally helpless in the beginning and then when she is finally rescued she becomes normal again. The boy does stupid things, but ends up being also a sort of hero. The town that it all happens in is devastated as always. People can't help themselves, but need everybody else to set up some sort of help and shelter. The bad guys get an early demise. And of course there is the de rigor love interest.
Just what is different about it? The details are, but the main plot is the same as in every other disaster movie and the characters are eerily similar to the same characters in other disaster movies. And the heroes always save everybody but the bad guys in the end. Even the lines and emotions are so like in other movies that there is no way to differentiate them from each other.
Yes. It's a better made movie with better acting (mostly) than many others in the genre. But apart from the snow cube being the cause, Nothing in it is new or different.
I have seen only one disaster movie that was different and much more true to real life types of people. And that was the movie about the family caught up in the tsunami in the indian ocean that devastated Thailand, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and small island groups. They fought heroically, but they were scared much more realistically and made all the mistakes they could possibly make without being killed like the real people in this world. And they didn't end up living like it never happened and never had a lasting effect and trauma for them. That is a movie where you are on the edge of the seat all the time. Because you know that what you see actually happened to a family of that name.
Well, the story was very nice and unique for me, the linear combination of Christmas and disaster, I enjoyed it.
It´s funny how different people react, to the same surprising issue (like a fire or an earthquake for example)......action is followed by a reaction , they call it , I think....That would be the same action for everybody and a different reaction from the involved people.
This was actually a good movie, Merry Christmas and a Happy new year from our Planet Earth to the Internacional station in Space.
And Merry Christmas to you! Right now we are exchanging gifts with some of our friends from the Andromeda Galaxy.. They look weird but they have a great sense of humor. Please don't repeat that part to them about looking weird. They're very sensitive, I think they're liberals.
Snowmageddon, apart from what was on the ground there was no snow, was expecting a blizzard ???.
