He's just got that "I'm a complete scumbag, proud of it, and the only thing I'm sorry about is getting busted" look on his face. Give him 18 years for this. Doesnt look like he's got much more in him than that.
There's a guy who had coin shops in bay city and mt pleasant, Michigan. Basically did the same thing Lutz did. He's currently sitting in jail. Looking at 3 to 5 years in prison. Spent customers money at the casino's. Local coin shop dealer told me he spent 5.1 Million dollars at the casino near me.
Look into the fraud that goes on in the Pokémon community. It is absolutely fascinating and I don't even collect trading cards of any type. I'd say by volume, the Pokémon community has 10 times or more the fraud we do. Heck, there was a brawl at a costco over Pokémon card. I'm telling you it is wild!!
Why anyone would give a guy at a flea market money for a product like coins or bullion is beyond me. That's why I use reputable LCS to purchase from. Pay and leave with what you bought. Thanks Spag for the info on this low life.
The value of coins is determined by their rarity, condition, and surviving population. Beyond this, does the coin have a fanbase, in other words, is it collectible.
Remember that Large on line gold and silver dealer several years ago that was doing the same thing. At first everyone was getting the items they bought . But as time went on and people paid for their gold and silver it was takeing about 3 to 4 weeks or longer and no one was receivingthe items they bought. Then the large dealer filed Backruptcy. He had hundreds of thousands of dollars of other peoples money and never sent them what they had bought. He pleaded gulity and paid a big fine but still had a lot of the peoples money that he did not have to pay back. This was not the only time he had done this . He had done this 10 years earlier so he knew how to work the system. The courts even stated that the gold he had already sent to people that the people had to sent it back to the courts and they lost their money as the dealer had filed bankruptcy.
The warning sign was put a deposit down. Don’t ever give someone cash and walk out without the metals and verify those metals before you walk out. There are way too many gullible people out there.
Never use a charge card or debt card in a coin shop or show unless you really know them. Use CASH only and never give them your address. The reason I say this is because I know someone who bought some coins from a local coinshop. Two days latter their home was btoken into and the only thing that was stolen was the coins that he bought and no one knew he had bought the coins. He had used his charge card and and thought the coin shop had his address. So watch out
I wonder if he conned the people because his prices were lower.Normally people get scammed because something is too good to be true.what im saying it's normally the greed of the victim is what causes the loss.
Thanks is giy will never ne able to go into a clin shop again after this video gets out . Im in the uk and know what he looks like surely everyone in America will know him . Great job speg❤
Gets out of prison for scamming people via coins only to set up at a flea market to scam people via coins & bullion. Who's spending thousands of dollars on gold coins and bars at a flea market? Beyond this, who's fronting thousands of dollars for bullion at a flea market on the promise of future delivery? Folks, please conduct your coin business with reputable dealers in your area. Flea markets and coins don't mix in my humble opinion. Support your local coin shops!!
It was brought to my attention that Seth Lutz has a lengthy criminal record.
6’0” approximately 180 lbs
He does not look like the type of guy I would hand thousands to on a hope and promise, at a flea market.
Agreed 👍 😂
100!
Be Careful who you buy from. Good job Speg!!
Thanks Speg. Karma catches up with people like that. A guy from Bay City Michigan area is scamming people out of Hundreds of Thousands of dollars too.

I’ve been to the Red Barn in Bradenton. What a shady guy!
You got any info at all on him?
I wonder if he conned the people because his prices were lower.Normally people get scammed because something is too good to be true.what im saying it's normally the greed of the victim is what causes the loss.
Who pre pays for gold?
Probably more than half of the people who buy metals. Think about what you’re doing when you’re buying online.. that’s the same thing.
@Spegtacular yeah your right. I wasn't thinking about that. I'm a dumb ass lol
Me too.
Sneaky snake

Huh? Pinellas and Manatee county are huge and have a massive collectors base.

There was a thief from Hommassa arrested at the Summer FUN Show. Any idea what the outcome was? Thanks for posting this.
Was that the one I did a video on? Red head?
@Spegtacular that's the thief. I never heard anything again about it
He sounds like most retailers
Can we see you go to other coin shops if you say to drive around and go to others in florida? We've only seen Guy, which nothing is wrong with Guy
Then you’re not looking. I’ve done videos with 7-8 shop owners now. So yes, check out the videos where I talk to many other shop owners on my channel.
@spegacular okay I’ll have to look! Has it been a while? I feel like I’ve watched most videos the past few months. Love the content btw
Relative of Biden?
This is a sad commentary.
