I was born in the Hospital there 77. Sad to see the buildings like that for me. I remember the butchers in the shop next to the food land store. Metzgie's hard ware store, coffee shop. If you would all like to know, Paddy Hannan must have been standing at or near the Club hotel when Bayley took in the Gold nuggets he had found from Coolgardie, the Wardens office back then was in the Window of the Post Office. Personally I do not beleive the story of Paddy and his horse any more. The buildings in Kalgoorlie are too well built for the time and place. The town Kalgoorlie was rediscovered.
