Straight forward enough but you made a mistake letting the caliper hang by the flexible pipe. Needs suspended up against the spring. It puts strain on the pipe and can cause brake fluid leaks. That car has been painted with blue paint as well to make it look like its fitted with M sport brakes . BMW also recommends replacing the brake wear sensor as a matter of course..
Every bit of this. And also saying you don't have to use the lube is not good. Nothing better than a couple months down the road it siezes and your whole job is toast.
