i got my steelseries apex 7 (blue switches) yesterday, kinda didnt expected them to be that loud .. actually was about to send it back, but i fell in love with this keyboard last night .. it looks so awesome and feels just great
Very good review! Structured, concise and to the point. It should have more views! One thing: During the sound test, I wonder if the microphone wasn't just a little bit too sensitive. It get the feeling that the keyboard would be a bit quieter IRL than in the test.
I have heard people complain about the blue switches but for me they are perfect, the engagement on the keys is super smooth and you can use it without too much sound if you don't want it to
I don't understand the "USB passthrough" feature. Heavy cable, two USB connections each time you want to use your keyboard. No point to it: you lose one, gain one. Either provide a real USB hub (that makes you "gain" an extra USB port) or forget it altogether!

I am new to keyboards. I would like this keyboard, but I’m not sure what keys to get. I like them to be clicky, quick, and if need be, loud. Let me know. I know some are clicky and some are silent but I am not sure which ones are which. Thank you!
Don’t think this is necessary but, blue and green are the loudest, browns are in the middle and grays reds and black are more like silent but no thatttt much
No, a wireless keyboard needs batteries to run, I don't know how you're gonna make this keyboard wireless when it doesn't use batteries. This is a wired keyboard.
"Aircraft grade aluminum" ....because bicycle grade aluminum doesn't sound as appealing. Lmao honestly though that aluminum is not special you will see with some research but it is godsend from the plastic days..
@@Harley1-w1q blue is way better for typing and accuracy due to tactile and audible feedback. Reds is eat faster and less fatigue on the hands so best for spamming keys in certain games.
Brown would be somewhere in between red and blue. It's quieter than blue, but it still provides some tactile feedback. There are also other switches, but red, blue and brown is what the Apex 7 comes in. Which is better will depend on your preferences.
Pretty sure you can’t, I saw different reviews too, and it didn’t come with a switch puller. (usually keyboards that you can remove switches comes with a switch puller)
Спасибо за обзор! Я тоже купил себе Apex 7 и сделал собственный подробный обзор, если интересно, приглашаю в гости к себе на канал, там ещё много разных других обзоров😉
This is a good review. No irrelevant bs. No random shots that takes away from the product. Just straight to the point and staying on topic.
Indeed
Never watched a review that good and that informative ever. You explained everything perfectly and covered anything you have got to know. Well done!

Is this apex 7 waterproof.
Huntsman elite or a Apex 7?
When I was buying my keyboard, (idk why) but I was not going for Razer keyboards. My personal opinion would say Apex 7.
I wish i could afford this it’s my dream keybaord but I’m poor so can’t afford so rip

So can you make the keyboard wireless with wireless plugs ?
No, a wireless keyboard needs batteries to run, I don't know how you're gonna make this keyboard wireless when it doesn't use batteries. This is a wired keyboard.
Drill a hole in your table it would look wireless
What are the key caps made out of
Abs, but they are good for abs caps :0
Wait I have the same keyboard and mines is red not blue any tips? How do I switch it
You need to buy blue keyboard switches
