i have one problem in jasper report when you have only one row in sql and you compile your application so your report size is small and if you have many row in db then

Hi, i am using ireport 5.1.0 . I have used multiple detail bands in my subreport. Can anyone plz tell what is the maximum height limit for one detail band and what will happen if i have used multiple detail bands and height of total detail bands are greater than page height (i.e 842 pixel).Please help

There is no specific height or width for a detail band, you can change the size in thed report properties as much as you want

@@IntactAbode thanks for your quick reply. I have used detail band and header footer. Total height including header footer goes beyond page height. While generating report my execution get stucked at fillReport. And 95% memory has been consumed due to this. Plz tell where is the problem

How to increase column header band height? It gives error if increased beyond 175.

at Report Inspector, select Column Header, then the Band Properties shown. At the Band Properties, set band height to any value you want.
