Evening Todd..just finished watching the video .good as always. Well I got a buddy who just bought a 1997 XLT limited with the 600 in it.. compression is a bit low.rangeing from 110 on the pto. Center 112 and 118 I believe..soo he took it over to a repair shop which is a friend of are. Are friend Chris was telling him that the water pump was no good. Well I found out from Tyler that bought the sled that Chris gets his water pumps from a guy in Minnesota. LoL. I'm thinking it might be the same guy that you get your pumps done by. I told Tyler that he should take that engine apart and inspect everything really good especially cylinder walls and pistons and of course crank bearings plus he also needs 3 new carb boots they are all tore up .. I told him spring and summer are the perfect time to get it done... I wouldn't Mind one of your t-shirts but I'm thinking Ontario canada 🇨🇦 is a bit far to send one .. anyway have a good evening from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦

You ever hear of the watercraft triple build ? Wave runner bottom end and 700 or 800 twin ves or non ves cylinders ? Heard they make like 200 horse stock on pump gas , be a cool build .
Good timing for me on this post... thanks ... I'm going to pull the flywheel off of the storm and take a look at the stator... make sure everything's happy in there... Dennis Kirk is currently out of stock... so I decided I will weld up my own .... the tip about use fine threads .... for the removable Nut and Bolt.... was helpful and key information ... the part about be careful how far you thread the bolts into the flywheel .... very helpful ass saving information .... the part about be careful you might break a piston skirt or crack a piston ... the physics at work on this procedure... to me ... you're putting some pressure on the flywheel... you're putting pressure on the end of the crankshaft... but I don't see any pressure being put on the Piston skirts during this... so I'm leaving the cylinder heads all in place the engine is still in the sled and I'm just going to lock onto that flywheel and pull it ...
Pinky out LOL I'll have to try a couple pulls out of the glass before I try the puller trick! I mentioned it because 20 years ago I did it. So you cut where the cone meets the center section, then you take a half inch or some electrical tape and make one wrap around and then cut along the edge of the electrical tape as a guide. Then you weld the cone back on. Now clutch for about 8500 to 8700
