people who say this are just new fans or those who don't shit about Tekken. There's a reason why Korea ruled the Tekken scene for 2 decades but certainly that status quo has been disturbed now.
The winner is always the better player of the day. What matters is consistency. Korea has dominated this game since forever until Pakistan came out of nowhere and held the big tourneys with their players for how many straight years. It's still a valid argument. Both of these players are at the top end of tekken anyway
You forgot Korea got the title of being the best cause you freakin forgot Pakistan was not on the tekken scene that time. If Pakistan were on the since since the early tekken days then everything would be different. Hey, I'm an Asian so I'm not biased. That's just my opinion.
@@everythinggaming_tv9163 your opinion has 0 value whatsoever and is based on a lot of speculations. Arcades have died in korea but havent died in Pakistan. While Atif uses high value moves, Ulsan keeps getting his turn by literally just using jab and df1 which defo beats big startup move frames. And Ulsan also notices how Atif loves to mash after wakeup, so he just lets atif whiffs and punish him. Beautiful play from Ulsan. Kudos to both players

@@pout1385 EVO wasn't even the premier fighting games tourney until the last decade. There were bigger events like Super Battle Opera in Japan. EVO just survived long enough to eventually become a Vegas staple while the other ones died out. EVO Japan didn't even exist until the arcade scene started dying out in Japan, hence less local tournaments. EVO never had the biggest prize pool to begin with and it will never happen now, since Saudis run thr EWC instead of buying the EVO brand.
I hope him and the other players get paid on time, not like the other players, especially Qudans during the $100k invitational tournament a few years ago.
Atif's poking game is not good whereas ulsans' poking game is on the next level , I was thinking the same before the match was started that if Ulsan went on to his poking game then he could outplay atif in every aspect..
Some of you might say this Set is a forecast of what's to come and how much Tekken 8 sucks, but I see this Set as a bright future. Why? Because Heat Smash, Mashing, and Spamming Offence isn't what won. Atif got 5-0'd by Jabs, DF1s, Clutch Low Blocks, and Lateral Movement. That looked like textbook Tekken to me. *Reeeeeally* pay attention to Game 2. All Ulsan did was pepper his Opponent with Jabs, Pokes, and scout Atif's Timing. Most important is Game 4 where the nail was put in the coffin. 11:30 After Blocking Atif's Low, Ulsan pressures Atif's Wakeup and Pokes him down. When Atif gets Space to use his Heat Smash, Ulsan just plays a Jab to keep him out and stop him from doing anything big. Pokes him down a little bit more, and then keeps him out with a Jab *AGAIN* Heat Smashes and silly 50/50s didn't win the Tournament. It was Ulsan staying composed and winning in the most compact Style like Knee and Arslan do :)
@@ZoiusGM play smaller, less big moves, u can see Ulsan ducked a lot of the big highs in clutch moments.Atif could’ve just played a lot safer and smaller, more df1, jabs, etc… just my opinion tho
Mannnn Tekken is too damn crazy! From Chikurin winning Evo Japan this year, Atif and Arslan showing tf out and making gf at EVO when only like 3 Pakistan players entered that tournament, to "random" Yoshis popping out and showing ninjas (see what I did there?) to Ulsan showing up here and completely outclassing Atif, of all people, FIVE MATCHES STRAIGHT. I love it. Korea said they can still make any region bleed. Also, whenever I catch Atif playing he tends to be emotionless and surgical with whoever he plays with, similar to Shadow 20z, but here he showed multiple times that he was stressed and a bit desperate to close out rounds. Shit's wild, you could see him crack, especially after he was down 2 games.

EVO|EWC: Atif 2nd|2nd; Ulsan 4th|1st The Reina pick was a bit troll and if Ulsan picked Dragunov the result might differ, but it is what it is. Based on the result, overall, they are even. But right now Ulsan is better. But I'm not sure if the gap is that big. 5-0 means that one player is better at the mirror match and probably has already studied the other person better. The latter is very likely because of Atif's run at EVO.
a 1 on 1 match doesn't necessarily show one is better than the other-- a tournament setting usually means the more people you beat, the better you are. this could just mean ulsan is great at the match up vs atif. Atif has still won more as of now. I love Ulsan and I was a kazumi main in t7, but there is still a lot of tekken to be played.

What a game Ulsan 👏👏👏. I am sure everyone expected Atif to be the winner, I mean he got almost the whole audience on his back. However, Ulsan just prove that he is far superior this time by delivering a 5-0. Damn! Congratulations Ulsan! 🎉🎉❤❤
Nah, not after getting almost booted by Rangchu with a bear and sent to losers by Jeon with Eddy. It was clear as day that Ulsan was going to fuck Butt good.
It always makes me chuckle when beatdown like this happens, remembering about people saying "end of an Era" for Korea
people who say this are just new fans or those who don't shit about Tekken.
@@everythinggaming_tv9163Pakistanis and Koreans are the goats of this game. they are pure hardwork and talent
@@everythinggaming_tv9163 your opinion has 0 value whatsoever and is based on a lot of speculations.
Arcades have died in korea but havent died in Pakistan. If you think korea at their peak would've been rivaled by Pakistani you are dead wrong simply because Koreans can afford to travel and improve and with their arcade scene still alive 10 years ago pakistan wouldv'e been rivaled maybe japan but not korea.
I don’t play Tekken, but I love watching Top 8 tournament matches whenever I can. Ulsan and JimmyJTran are my favorites. Ulsan is a masterful player-dangerously smart, with nerves of steel. He has this uncanny ability to smother your aggression, slip the game right out of your hands, and leave you completely bewildered. I only wish I understood the game well enough to fully appreciate how he pulls it off.
When Uslan beat Arslan and Knee, Nothing can stopped him for getting 🏆
Respect from 🇵🇰
Steves confusion at 13:21 is hilarious lol. Continues into the next round 😆
I still remember how ulsan said "Atif is Inhuman and he couldn't beat him" Now bro you beat him 5-0 at the world biggest tournament. C'mon bro well deserved ❤🎉 go and buy tekken dlc with the price❤️🗣️
Can you add a spoiler to this so people can't see it.
@@FGCTekken not really a spoiler when they're watching the same video
@tutumazibuko2510 the top comment is telling people Atif got stomped before you even start watching. It's a spoiler if you didn't get to watch it live. But fairgame, it's youtube.
@@FGCTekken Why would you come to the comment section BEFORE watching the video in its entirety? I never understood that. If I don't want a spoiler I don't scroll down to the comment section. Simple.
@jamessummers5936 The top comment appears when you load the video when viewing from phone. I didn't go to the comments section it was there as soon as I clicked on the thumbnail and the video started. Bro do you need a screen shot? I can provide one if you find it that unbelievable.
5:0
It's done
Atif was the most solid offensive dragunov i have ever seen but he was murdered in cold blood here!! Ulsan deserve to be champ.. btw please nerf dragunov! lols!!
Ulsan broke his limit
Nobody smoked atif like that… what a legendary battle
like he said... he wasn't nervous and his dopamine lever was high....
Never seen such a domination in a FT5 Grand Final.
Huge congrats to ulsan. 300K dollars in the bank! Thats like winning Evo 2024 15 times over!
It's so sad that EVO, which should be the biggest and most important tournament, has such a small prize pool😒😒😒
@@pout1385Saudi oil money is unmatched
@@pout1385 EVO wasn't even the premier fighting games tourney until the last decade. There were bigger events like Super Battle Opera in Japan. EVO just survived long enough to eventually become a Vegas staple while the other ones died out. EVO Japan didn't even exist until the arcade scene started dying out in Japan, hence less local tournaments. EVO never had the biggest prize pool to begin with and it will never happen now, since Saudis run thr EWC instead of buying the EVO brand.
I hope him and the other players get paid on time, not like the other players, especially Qudans during the $100k invitational tournament a few years ago.
he breaks all arslan winning in 1 go.
He mocked Nobi, so Karma hit Atif with absolute intensity 5-0
But Atif still didn't lose 9-0 unlike Nobi. That's literally an important distinction.
@@SalmanMalik-eo8uo grand final 5-0 is way worse than semi/winner final 3-0
@@SalmanMalik-eo8uo and indeed an important distinction
@@SalmanMalik-eo8uo yeah the distinction that 5-0 on the biggest tournament in the world is the biggest loss in his career even Arslan cried 🤣
Ulsan locked in so hard I saw the shadows of Kazumi in his Drag 😂😂
Congratulations Ulsan and GG to Atif making a long run into the finals.
Ulsan using jabs and df1 so SO MUCH I could see Kazumi ghost behing Dragunov lol
Thats Dragunovs best poke, atif uses it so much too. But Ulsan was simply better here.
Hes still waiting for BOB release
It was a battle of d2(atif) vs df1(ulsan) lol
My thoughts exactly.
Atif was getting arrogant. He was very disrespectful during EVO. It’s good to see him get put in his place.
Atif's poking game is not good whereas ulsans' poking game is on the next level , I was thinking the same before the match was started that if Ulsan went on to his poking game then he could outplay atif in every aspect..
13:21 Ulsan just enjoyed it LOL
Ulsan “gave up” the first couple rounds to see and reconfirm what Atif was doing. Once download was completed, he went on the offense.
After Blocking Atif's Low, Ulsan pressures Atif's Wakeup and Pokes him down.
Its still all braindead offensive game
Good thing ulsan figure him out right off the bat, once atif play slow aggressive moves ulsan interrupts.
yeah I agree a few of ulsans jabs are literally genius
What could Atif do to counter Ulsan? (I'm not playing Tekken but I am curious since I liked watching it this tournament)
@@ZoiusGM play smaller, less big moves, u can see Ulsan ducked a lot of the big highs in clutch moments.Atif could’ve just played a lot safer and smaller, more df1, jabs, etc… just my opinion tho
he deserved it after that arrogant pop off against nobi
Bro absolutely S-M-O-K-E-D Atif. He was playing with him and could’ve probably continue doing so for the next few hours. Atif didn’t stand a chance. SEND PAKISTAN HOME 🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷
Well played but do not disrespect Pakistani players Arslan has beaten Ulsan many times in other tournaments there is a lot to come and it is good to see Korea coming back otherwise there will always be a Pak vs Pak final like evo
@AbdulWaheed-rt7qr oh stop crying. Pakistan got packed up and sent home and I like their players. It's you toxic fans who are ridiculous.
That's the past.
This is NOW.
@@AbdulWaheed-rt7qr Bro the present matter's. Arslan got beaten up and taken out in the group stage and he didn't even win a match. He is an amazing player and evebody knows. But in this tourney korea was better in general.
@@AbdulWaheed-rt7qr Koreans never brag about their players. Wtf is wrong with the Pakistan fans. They can't stop wanking their players.
Calling pakistan fans toxic, and yet acting more toxic than anyone else. That’s ironic 😂
He bodied Atif like a child. Dam, 5-0.
score of 5-0 with the same character clearly shows the difference in player's skills...
EVO|EWC: Atif 2nd|2nd; Ulsan 4th|1st
The Reina pick was a bit troll and if Ulsan picked Dragunov the result might differ, but it is what it is.
I love Ulsan and I was a kazumi main in t7, but there is still a lot of tekken to be played.
i mean ulsan also beat arslan and knee on his way up. he beat all the so called "GOATS" give the guy his cheese he deserves it
Atif >> Ulsan in skill
Ulsan >> Atif in mentality.
@@saffriassnowArslan is OBJECTIVELY the GOAT
Nobi smiling in the crowd somewhere.
A crucial reminder for Pakistani fanboys to quit bragging and behaving as if they’re above the rest.
Pakistan region❤>>
They literally are above the rest. The overall results speak of that.
@@SalmanMalik-eo8uo What overall results? LMAO Koreans have been more consistent in the standings at majors.
Bragging because your favorite players are winning is a bad thing? Okay dude 😂
@@Maver1ck101consistent? By sending more boys u mean, 10 to 15 each tournament most of them don't even make it to top 32, even knee got eliminated in pools so many times this year, qudans jdcr they are Koreans aswell bruh.
8:20 I felt that too, big bro.
Congrats, Ulsan. Now, Harada, it's time to nerf Dragunov... again!
울산 울산 울산!!
wait for pakistanis start saying atif had stick problems
😂😂😂😂
Nope. No one is saying that. They are actually giving props to Ulsan. But Arslan did have Stick problems
스틱 망가진 것도 실력이긴 함 ㅋㅋㅋ 전날 확인했어야지
Nah the air conditioner was too cold
food problem
13:16 Tasty Steve thought Atif is doing the rage art 😂
Atif caught abusing OP Dragunov. Got humbled when he had to turn on his brain because his qcf 4 stopped working
noticed that same. he was relying too much on qcf4, but hey im sure this defeat must be a huge lesson for him to come back stronger.
Exactly don't sleep on Atif because of one bad match. He will return stronger now. He will watch and learn from this match.
There has been many times Arslan and Knee keep on beating 3:0 each other, but after few months the pendulum swings.
But yeah, until Drag is nerfed, Ulsan seems to be unstoppable. Was totally undefeated the whole tournament.
@@JamshadAhmad Knee's Bryan almost had him, came down to a final, final round.
He will comeback and win 3000$ at next tournament lol@@JamshadAhmad
@@JamshadAhmadmaybe he will win next time.. but the prize is like 5% of what ewc had 😂
I like how mainstream fans are now finding out about ulsan being strong he was always strong and the only guy who went neck to neck with arslan in T7 his match at TWT was the greatest Tekken match I've ever watched.
Ulsan now got the right character.Seeing both of them playing dragunov,I wish i could also play that character like them.
Ulsan saw what Atif did to Nobi at Evo and took that personally. He said “aye remember what u did to Nobi at evo? THIS IS FOR NOBI!!”
Loved the FT5 format, made all the matches more hype. Even a dragonov mirror match was sick.
Lol was that Atif bagging in the second round second match? 😅
I think he was starting to realize that Ulsan was on another level and decided to try to throw him off his game a bit. Didn't work lol.
I was like oh atif is about to get BODIED HARD you don’t tbag in tekken unless you want to lose doesn’t matter how good you are
You can't really say atif played terribly, EVO atif vs nobi was 9-0 on rounds but atif took ulsan to final round twice. Ulsan just had the better mental resilience it seems. Very well played Ulsan!
Butt was good, but not good enough.
Atif got beat, thrown and smoked
LETS GOOOOOOOO KOREA! Ulsan played so well and was really deserved(this is coming from a pakistani haha) BIG UP! Atif bhai dont worry your time will come!
I'm a big fan of ulsan and wouldn't have even hoped for such a scenario
Ulsan placed Nobi's key in his trophy. What Atif did at EVO against the most prestigious player in Japan is unacceptable. I hope this massacre reminds him where he and all those Pakistani boys who are currently fighting to be the best... A country with a lot of poverty and precariousness with one of the worst passports in the world. Both Arslan and Atif have lost their humility, which is reflected in the toxicity of Pakistani fans.
Atif got murdered lol
rip and steve so good i sure love their commentary
This proves how 1 dimensional atif playstyle is ulsan downloaded him so quickly
Like in T7 play the most broken braindead character of the game
Play ultra aggressive and that's it
Korea back on top! 🔥
Ulsan smurfing in the grand finals against atiff. what a chad.
미쳤다 이제 무릎 다음세대는 울산이구나
Who would've known that Korean Dragnov beat Pakistan Dragunov to 5-0
MAKE SOME NOISE FOR KDF ULSAN!!
Atif just got his own medicine after the evo beatdown he gave to nobi. He's dragunov just got used as a mop to clean up the tears of his fans 🤣🤣🤣
This is what happens when you're a smart player and not rely on one style of playing
Nobi san very happy now😂
Ulsan even chose Nobi's key, Atif avenge has been completed 👏
Pakistan fans must be humbled now😂
