Great video and what a lovely way to recognize a stitcher. Katie is amazing and I got the Dove too. Great detailed instructions as well. I stitched a lot of Lavender and Lace in the 80’s. My Mom has a lot of them hanging up in her house. Your Mirabilia is beautiful.
Good that we can reach to more than one😁 It's a great prompt but I admit it makes me feel a bit nervous and I am not a shy person. I'll do it though😛 See you in a couple of days 😍🎄🎅🧵🪡
I started The Christmas Gathering last night and will be stitching a strand a day until finished. I am using stash, a cream colored 18 count Aida and Brin & Nedles floss St Paddy's day on George Street a beautiful green variegated floss. Thank you so much for the wonderful gift and wishing you a very Happy Holiday Season
I just want to say thank you so much for the wonderful free Christmas pattern . I can't wait to stitch it ! I'm going to take it to my monthly cross stitch group this weekend . Thank you once again for making these great flosstubes .
Thank you, Arica for a fabulous day 2! I really appreciate the time, effort and thoughtfulness you have put into these videos (actually, all your videos).
I appreciate you stitching with me! I'll try to make the music a bit softer next time. I select 50% volume but I wonder if I forgot this time?? Or perhaps I need 25%? Thank you for letting me know 😊
Instead of perforated paper, maybe you could stitch it on Aida and then use fray check and iron on interfacing to attach the finished piece to stif felt? I use that sometimes for pieces where I didn’t leave myself good margins for framing.
Hi Arica, I am a big fan of Katie’s work, love her sparkle and bead embellishments. The dove looks like a fun project, and I hope you find time in your busy schedule to try it. Happy stitching and thank you for sharing.
I'm so glad you liked the dove, it looks fun to stitch! Happy stitching 😊 I am prerecording a couple days at a time and I have to tell you, I opened the dove immediately and I’ve completed it - LOVE IT!!!!! 🕊️
Great video. I’m a newbie Mira stitcher and was wondering how you handle the large charts while stitching? Do you make a smaller working copy? I made a working copy but am having trouble managing the large size of the chart.
Yes I love a smaller working copy and I also make a copy of the floss list and cut it out so it’s handy. Sometimes I just use the large paper copy, I fold it and place it on my magnetic board along with the mini copy of the floss list/key
Fantastic!!! Loved the idea of sending a message to a stitcher!! Community building at its best!
Im happy to hear you are participating :)
Like the way the angel is looking
Thank you, me too!
I admire you! I like your tutorials and your efforts in building a stitchers community. ❤
Thank you so much!
Thank you for the flossmas
My pleasure! Thank you for watching :)
