  • In this video I’m installing a set of BC Racing Coilovers on this F30 330I , this is not a tutorial video I’m doing for the first time and just showing you as well , this is not gonna be a very detailed tutorial on installing these coilovers . The main reason for changing to a coilover was to make the car sit abit higher because the car is too low for daily driving, feel free to ask any questions in the comments down below

How is the ride quality for daily driving? Also why did you use the oem top hats instead of the bc ones? Great video!

When i bought this car it came with Bilstein absorber with sport spring it was quite stiff and the reason I switched to bc is because the car is too low for daily use ,using coilovers I adjusted to slightly higher and set the preload of the spring to the lowest so as soft as possible ,as for the top hats aftermarket top hats tends to have clunking noise as I heard from other people and harsh ride ,not necessary for daily use if use for track and need all the adjustments for suspension then definitely go with aftermarket top hats 👍👍👍

This is not the X drive model

Correct me if im wrong, people who want the most performance out of their F3X Xdrive suspension need adjustable links when lowering their car. But for people who just want to slam their Xdrive Shitbox for the look don't need links.
    Or... is that dangerous €

Yeah I am using adjustable links but bc racing also provide their links which I didn’t use I kept it as a spare ,but my car is not Xdrive ,when I installed these bc coilovers the sway bar was slightly hitting the frame so i adjusted a little bit and made sure it did not hit anything even fully on the ground or on the jackstands , but I don’t think there will be any issues if using stock sway bars , I changed mine to a stiffer sway bar it’s larger in diameter so that might be the issues ,but after few months of using it I have no issues at all maybe you could give me your thoughts on that ?

      @@tinagaran8430thx for the info,
Unfortunately Xdrive models are different from RWD ones, it is a bit more complicated.
