And, you conveniently left out Matthew 14:30. The only time Peter opened his mouth was to change feet. It wasn't until Peter receives the Holy Spirit in the Book of Acts that we see a new Peter: one who is not about himself, stops seeking validation and becomes a man of God. Peter changes when he receives the Holy Spirit but prior to that...Peter was no leader. IT TAKES 99 TRUTHS to SELL ONE LIE. Further, you need to study those passages more closely. Stop taking liberties with scripture. You elevate Peter above the other 11? Peter was the epitome of those you talked about in your sermon "My Time is Coming". The ones who raced headlong into a situation without the shoulders to carry it. And, you conveniently left out Matthew 14:30. The only time Peter opened his mouth was to change feet. It wasn't until Peter receives the Holy Spirit in the Book of Acts that we see a new Peter: one who is not about himself, stops seeking validation and becomes a man of God. Peter changes when he receives the Holy Spirit but prior to that...Peter was no leader. IT TAKES 99 TRUTHS to SELL ONE LIE. In every sermon you blow me away with your insight and unique perspective...EXCEPT there is always that one error. Never a small thing, rather always slanderous against good and faithful servants of God. I have an uneasy feeling and I'm not sure what to do about it.
