Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on Thursday said that he should have a voice when the Federal Reserve makes its decisions on interest rates.
“I feel the president should have at least [a] say in there,” Trump said during a news conference at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida. “Yeah, I feel that strongly. I think that in my case, I made a lot of money, I was very successful, and I think I have a better instinct than, in many cases, people that would be on the Federal Reserve or the chairman.”
Donald Trump shot back an agitated response when asked if he is concerned about the crowds showing up for Vice President Kamala Harris.
The former president said the 'honeymoon period' will soon end as he lamented that the media refuses to acknowledge the impressiveness of his audience sizes. 'Oh, give me a break,' Trump exhaled during a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago resort on Thursday before thanking the reporter for giving him a chance to tout how many supporters go to his rallies.
He insisted that there are up to 30 times more people at his campaign stops than at those for the vice president and if he garnered her crowds people would say his campaign is 'over.'
The press conference comes as the Trump team continues to hit Harris for her refusal to speak with the media since entering the presidential race last month.

No one wants a Felon to have a say so on any government related matters. May as well ask the prison population how best to handle the economy while you're at it, same difference!
