Some what agree, but personally i think O'sullivan is a bit on the arrogant side. Doesnt get his way he throws his toys out the pram. Always says weird, very bold things in his post match interviews. That being said, he's still my favourite player and is still someone i will always tune in to watch play. Because regardless to his character, he is definitely the greatest snooker player ever. Some matches his form doesnt turn up at all, but when it does, it really does & theres only one person who can give him a good game and thats Judd Trump in my opinion.

Fair play to Ronnie with the ‘miss’ rule letting Hawkins take his shot from where it was so he didn’t concede the frame if he missed. That’s why Ronnie is the best 🤟

@@mez7736 Thanks. I confirmed Ronnie's age. He is lucky to be able to focus with those eyes at age 45. My eyes gave out at age 40 while playing in pool halls. As an aside, I am hooked on Snooker matches. Here in the States it never caught on for some strange reason. Extremely addicting sport.

That was a pretty interesting match. A few silly mistakes. Even the best players can get it wrong!
Accurately put, energy saving mode! Hawkins seems always incapable of exerting any pressure on his opponents, even if he's a really top player, really talented, so it must be his mental side that's the problem. But even playing Ronnie seems to put him in terrible pressure that he can't handle.

Maybe he has lost interest in the game after playing for over 35 years. There are very few players that can maintain top level form after 40 y.o. There are lots of reasons for that including cognitive decline, eyesight, physical stamina, concentration and psychological issues such as loss of interest. It's not the "mental side" but rather the normal performance curve of rise, peak and decline. It occurs in almost every sporting type including football, tennis, chess, cricket, etc., etc. People are now complaining about Ronnie's performances and lack of consistency. I would not like to be a superstar as expectations are very unrealistic.
Had a good run at the 2021 Tour Championship, but yeah, did lose to Ronnie at the end. Wasn't able to deliver the killer blow...

I have a question. If a red is fully visible and after missing it twice and getting warned, what if you hit the red on the third try but scratch on the shot. Does that foul mean you forfeit the frame or are you OK because you hit the red?

How come all the snooker games on UA-cam are edited to remove the time between shots? it's very annoying.
I actually find it enjoyable. Watching a full snooker match is very time consuming and I think people like the quicker pace. Not to say that a full match isn't enjoyable.
@@DUK703 I just can't get settled on each shot. I'm still analyzing the table and all of a sudden the next shot is being played. I also enjoy the uninterrupted commentary.

The argument was not that Mark Selby would have put him, but it was, if Selby was playing that shot, would Ronnie have given him the third try our let him play.

Probably forgot about it. Unless it is because of the miss rule that he doesn’t like, I know he’s got a lot of respect for Barry
Most likely cause he is opposed to the 3 miss/foul rule and had him play from there to cancel out the rule
He doesn't agree that particular rule and would do it any match to make a point about the rule because it is outdated it was invented when the standard was poor but it isn't anymore
Ronnie plays for the enjoyment and he will and has lost tornements making his arguments before he's not a guy that plays to win at any costs he would rather lose a tournament but really enjoy it than win and hate it
