North Dalton is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England which is situated approximately 6 miles from the town of Driffield and around 20 miles from York. The picturesque South Dalton • The Best Kept Secret i... lies some 4.5 miles to the south-east along with the stunning Dalton Estate.
Ancient tumuli surround the village, and archaeologists have uncovered extensive evidence of Neolithic inhabitation. The predominantly Victorian village North Dalton appears in the Domesday Book and lies in the middle of the Yorkshire Wolds, a beautiful rolling chalk landscape made famous by David Hockney, and well known for its unique ecology.
All Saints is a Norman church with extensive 13th-century rebuilding in the Early English style and sits on the top of a steep hill overlooking the village.
The Star Inn which sits adjacent to the village pond is a great village pub with rooms, excellent food and is often described as cosy and very welcoming.

Jamie what a lovely little village with birds singing shame about all the traffic and a dog what growled otherwise it would be so peaceful some of the houses looked so nice and some of them looked old buildings to the planters outside the village hall looked has if someone cares for them it's such a picturesque place with all the trees in full bloom which is so nice to see what a lovely little church yard bet some of the graves looked very old to shame you could not get inside the church What a lovely big pond to with nice iris plants around the pond could hear the ducks against the traffic

Your American friend clearly has never been to England. This video shows a typical village which is quiet with some old historical buildings. For me, the best of England is found in the countryside and nature, especially the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. The cities can be a bit rough and dirty in areas. There are many beautiful old villages all around the country.
そうなのですか。一人旅だったそうなのですがフランスではスーツケースごと盗まれ列車でロンドンに向かいヒースロー空港に近い駅で降りるとホームレスが沢山いて空港までたどり着けるかと足が震え出したそうです。私は日本人ですがアメリカと比較すると世界一の経済大国であるので何もかも優れているように感じました。ただ日本人はトランプのような人を国のリーダには選ばない賢さは備えていると思います。ヨーロパはIT革命から完全に遅れ過去の栄光に侵っている国ではないかと思うのですがね。あなたのようなプライドの高い人に、こんなことを言ったら叱られちゃうかなぁ。気にさわればゴメンチャイ😮
