I’m surprised that this information isn’t getting more traction. There are no lies in this story. I’m a black man and I love the Steelers. But I fell in love with the Steelers under Cowher. Reason being is they played so hard and they also were great tacklers. Under tomlin we are way worse. I don’t understand how people make excuses for tomlin. I’m done with this dude Mike T has to go. Cowher hired really good coaches and drafted or had a hand in drafting some of our most endeared Steelers. Great Job, definitely sharing this. I was telling my wife the same thing
@voltkhaosgaming only problem with that is Cowhers players were allowed to play like that. Where we're you when Deebo, Clark and Troy were practically fined out of the league for playing like that? I remember when Noll dominated the league in the 70s. Problem is, he retained all if his players every season because there was no free agency. Was he really the best Steeler coach ever or would he have been as good uf he lost some of these hall ifvdamers every year. No way he keeps that squad under today's rules. Your take is not valid.
His take is not valid??? How about 3-14 in the playoffs since 2010?? How about no playoff wins since 2016?? How about having never hired a competent coordinator?? How about not retaining Brian Flores as DC when he had him in the building?? Any of those arguments valid??
Went for it on 4th and long, punted on 4th and inches. He talks about not living in his fears, but he plays ball like it’s the 80’s. Completely defensive strategy with no splash plays or passing. All running between the guards.
i totally agree with you. Additionally, Mike Tomlin doesn't have any coaching tree. Look at Keith Bulter, he went nowhere. Look at Matt Canada, Look at randy fichtner. No one is hired as a head coach nor working as a coach. This guy has no coaching tree. It means something
The only reason Mike Tomlin had a winning season the last 2 years is last year because of Mason Rudolf and this year because of Chris Boswell not because of Wilson or Fields. They should have had only 5 wins this year and not even been in the playoffs. Besides no one talks about how he screwed Rudolf who was spouse to take over after Big Ben retired he also takes no responsibility for anything always someone else’s fault..OVERATED BIG TIME.Glad I sold my tickets years ago.
I've been saying this for 10 years. They had too many great rosters that underperformed when it mattered. Idk how many years the Steelers were favorited to win the Super Bowl and got booted the first round. He's the biggest fraud in the NFL. The further removed from Cowhers team the worse the franchise has become. I so badly want him to go to another team and he'll really be exposed, but then they'll just say the game has passed him by, he was never a good coach.
Im a born Pittsburgher and always loved my team. I didn’t want cowher to retire. I had every single game from 92-03 on vhs. I agree that he’s bad. He can’t adjust, won’t adjust and frankly I want change. Tired of mediocrity and the wasting great players careers. He does some good things but everything else is terrible and i scratch my head with the important decisions he muffs. It’s crazy how he’s still here
People also forget that one of his last wins in the playoffs were against Marvin Lewis Bengals team in 2015 where they gifted wrap it for the steelers in the final couple minutes.
You proved every point about this team. As a steelers for 21 years, i was optimistic time to time until i gave up believing we gonna win a playoff game wit him as HC. I been bashed for being right about my own team and i knew we was goin to b 10-7 this year based on the preseason scores and losing to bad and contending teams. Yall can look at tomlin's track record and see he is the common denominator and everyone gets blamed instead of tomlin. Even big ben talked about this and most of us fans looked past this and now look, and its gonna burn until 2027 or until real major changes are made
The only thing that Rooney's will let Tomlin go. I think they should trade him and get a number one draft pick but if the fans stop going to games that will be a great indication because we need to show our power
That's the approach that my family is taking. We didn't go to a game last year or this year and we are not going to one next year either if he is still the coach. We make alternative vacation plans. I'm not giving their franchise another nickel. It's very costly to travel from Michigan to watch the Steelers. It's not worth it right now.
@beckybarnett2066 I've been begging for the Rooney's to get rid of him 7 years ago. He might be a good motivator but he's definitely not a good coach, especially calling plays as well as time management. He needs to go somewhere else and get a fresh start, but we still need a quarterback and a good offensive coordinator
If Steelers fans want to see change then they must boycott the Steelers until Tomlin is gone. Keep the stadium empty, stop buying tickets and stop buying Steelers merch as long as Tomlin is still here. There is no other way, this is the only way. I repeat, the only way.
Damon you are right 1000%. I made the same comment on other sites. Sadly, most fans are stupid and will gladly hand Art Rooney their hard earned money and he will laugh at them all the way to the Bank!
@@damonclark5742 you are so dam right iv been saying that for years now but that’s how stupid people are today. I sold my steeler season tickets 8 years ago..
@@teeing9355 Todd Haley was fired when the Steelers were top 5 in total offense. No one points out how Tomlin had the 2 all time leading receivers in Steelers history, the sack leader in Steelers history, the passing leader in Steelers history, as well as countless other current or future HOF’ers, all with nothing to show after 2008.
Agreed. I just think Tomlin's defenders and apologists tend to be louder and more passionate, and are also amplified better by a fawning (and clueless) national sports media that loves Tomlin for the shallowest of reasons. I live about 45 mins from Pittsburgh, in west central PA, and I don't know literally a single person who hasn't wanted Tomlin gone for like at least the last 10 years. I, personally, never wanted him to get hired to begin with, and although I gave him a bit of slack after winning a SB, my patience with him was gone by the end of 2010. He, and AR2, are destroying thr franchise and I'd argue that at least 85% of the Yinzer fanbase agrees.
Lol, I love the "he doesmt have a QB, he doesnt have the rosters these other coaches have, he doesnt have great assistant coaches" as if it has nothing to do with him.
About to be 9 years without a playoff win. Terribly coached team. I’m actually not gonna be mad if Steelers lose tomorrow. If they win, that’s just another excuse for him to stay.
They're on par In my opinion. Harbaugh has had a 2 time MVP on his team and hasn't sniffed the superbowl since 2012. He has the chance to leap frog tomlin this year though
I been seeing this as a long standing fan since the 1970s and shocked Rooney gave this guy a 3 year extension after 7 year playoff slump, especially with the majority of Ben's career and prime. I expect nothing to change because Rooney is either complacent or thinks this guy will somehow turn that they both built train wreck around lol. Hope I'm wrong but "The Standard is the Standard", right?
As a Ravens fan (go ahead fire away) I’ll miss him when he’s gone. Personally I like the fact that both of our perspective franchises take pride in the stability of the entire organization. But it may be time. My only thought on why it might not be a great idea (and no part of me wants your boyz to get better) is who & where are you going get a better option? 🤔 I ask fellow Ravens fans when they want Harbs gone. And he makes some of the worst clock management & challenges I’ve ever seen.
You never know who's better until you try. Tomlin wasn't some prolific guy when we hired him, that's usually the case with these young successful coaches. I'd like to try Ben Johnson, Brian Flores, or Jesse Minter for sure. There are other options too. I think we just need a change of scenery. There is no point in squeaking by regular season games and getting trounced in the playoffs, and that seems to happen no matter who we have on the team. We've gone through lots of players and coordinators, the only common denominator left is Tomlin. I think I'm also fine with trying something and having it be worse. We can't always expect for our standard of 10-20 year coaching careers to continue forever, we will inevitably have a dud at some point. To quote Tomlin, continuing the same recipe would be 'living in our fears.' We have to a take a risk at some point.
Common man, get real ! M Tomlin has won many Post Season Trophies, they are just “ Participation Trophies”. The Standard is TheStandard. And the standard is just that.
I said it in 2013 after the Green Bay win. The Steelers won despite some of the worst clock management I had ever seen. I’ve seen worse from him since. It was obvious that all he was doing was managing games, not coaching. Ben should have one or two more rings.
I remember when bradshaw suggested it was time for tomlin to go and howie long and the others just acted like bradshaw was a crazy old man. Tomlin aint done shit since then! Couldve built 2 great rosters since then. He has no control over the locker room. Why does national media prop up tomlin. At least marvin lewis took over a horrible team and organization and got them to the playoffs. Tomlin has took a great team and organization and made it worse! He sucks plain and simple.
Rooney won't do sh*t. He can't hire someone based on DEI and then fire that same coach without creating a firestorm in the woke national media. Besides, he firmly believes in that crap. Unless the stadium is consistently 70-90% empty over multiple seasons, I just don't see him changing his ways, and there are probably too many Steelers fans who just want winning seasons. It is what it is. Just pray that Tomlin decides to leave on his own - that's really our only hope.
I totally agree with you about Mike Tomlin, I felt that way for 10 years, I felt he should have been fired 10 years ago so we're on the same page as regards to Mike Tomlin.
You continue to fail to mention how Cowher lost 4 AFC Championship Games at home in Pittsburgh. That was heavily traumatic on me as a fan. I’d rather see the Steelers go 13-4 and lose in the first round of the playoffs instead seeing them get into playoffs at 9-7 and lose in the AFC Championship game.
Ravens fan here. Obviously, I'm glad that the Ravens won on Saturday, but I also respect you guys and especially the Rooneys. Tomlin is exploiting the hell out of the Rooneys and their famed loyalty toward their coaches. He's figured out that all he needs to do to keep his job is get winning records in the regular season. (I'm sure that he gets bonus points from Steelers fans for beating the Ravens on a regular basis, but now that's starting to dry up, too.) Plus I don't like the disrespectful junk he does, like tripping the late Jacoby Jones during a kick return. I'm glad that you all are coming to the realization that Tomlin is a big jerk, and I hope that the Rooneys realize that they're being taken sooner rather than later.
85% of the people criticizing your last video were not likely Yinzers. Tomlin is popular among everyone BUT Yinzers, although there are probably a number of vocal Tomlin apologists among them. His most ardent, stalwart supporters tend to either be from the fawning PPG, or are national media reliant, or are merely casual fans of football, at best. I can tell you this much though: As a 42 year old, lifelong Steelers fan whose watched almost every game since 1993, I'm happy to say that I never wanted him to begin with, and althpigh I obviously gave him some slack after winning a SB in his 2nd year (albeit with Cowher's staff and team), I've been loudly calling for his firing, every single year, since at least 2011 - and this year is obviously no exception. Mediocre Mike must go! 😂
@@kevvinbb10494 Right, which is why I compared Tomlin to cowher and showed that Tomlin is outclassed there as well. What about John Harbaugh? If winning a superbowl 17 years ago disqualifies you from being fired then you do you.
@ Outclassed?….not sure about that. i do know that the absence of an elite qb hurts you guys. Tomlin’s message probably doesn’t resonate with the locker room anymore but he’s still an above average coach. As a Ravens fan I’m more than ok with Harbaugh. He never loses his locker room and when he had dissension in 2012 he listened to the players, things changed and a super bowl was won. How many current coaches have won a championship? While ur coach has his warts and his issues there…,he is a valuable commodity on the open market
Tomlin had a HOF QB most of his career and managed to under-achieve. The more Tomlin became entrenched in constructing the roster and curating the Steelers culture, the further they moved away from being legit championship contenders
Okay so first off great video man!Posting before the ravens game and predicting the obvious collapse was hilarious. However I have some arguments for keeping Tomlin from an outsider perspective. I’m actually a Browns fan but I’ve lived in Pittsburgh the last year and keep up with Steelers news to talk to friends, coworkers, etc. I believe the issue with the Steelers mostly comes down to QB and not head coach. The way I see it is the Steelers or any AFC team will not see playoff success unless they have a QB who can compete on the level of Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, or Burrow. I think most fans are aware of this and want to find a long term solution at QB, so why would you want to fire your coach bring in an entirely new coach and system while trying to repair Field’s career or develop a young guy newly drafted? It seems like a plan set up to fail. Maybe I’m just completely jaded from watching the Browns totally fail time and time again trying the new coach/new QB plan. Probably apples to oranges comparison cause the Browns are completely dysfunctional but it’s a scary proposition to give up on Tomlin. If the new coach fails and there is no answer at QB it is a recipe for disaster and you could find yourself in the hell that I have watched with the Browns for my entire 26 years on this planet lol. Also as a side note winning coach of the year is completely meaningless Stefanski has two lol
I know COTY and awards are meaningless generally. I pointed this out because people like to use it as an argument for why a player or a coach is good when it’s not normally the case. In the case of Mike Tomlin, he had the best QB in franchise history, the best Wr in franchise history, and one of the best running backs we have had in franchise history, with an unstoppable o line. He hasn’t won a single playoff game since 2016. Regardless of the QB’s he has now, who he’s chosen to start, draft, or trade for, he’s failed every time. The jaguars have 3 more recent playoff wins than us. They won with an awful roster 2 years ago.
@ True. I just don’t think Tomlin or any replacement for him is going to beat the Ravens in Baltimore or the Bills in Buffalo until they find a QB that can at least compete with the top guys in the AFC. Let’s say they bring in a new coach win a wild card game against Houston or the Chargers and then get stomped the next round by KC. What does that change? Finding a long term solution at QB is the only viable option imo. That’s why I think the best argument against keeping Tomlin was his failure to win when it mattered with the killer bees teams. That was the window and now the current roster is slightly above being mid. No coach is winning a playoff game with the current constitution of the team.
Great video, the only one major point I don’t agree with is your take on Andy Reid. Andy Reid is arguably the best coach of all time, and the eagles moving on from him was absolutely a mistake. If you don’t think the eagles regret that move I think you’re wrong about that. As a jets fan I can be the first to tell you that firing your coach is never always a good thing, you could end up hiring Adam gase
Marvin Lewis never led the Bengals to the Super Bowl let alone win one. Also...coaches can only train the talent that's available to them and they draw up the X's and O's. THEY DON'T PLAY THE GAME. How much of the Steelers fan base that bemoans losses, blames Tomlin but never places most of the blame on the Steelers players. 90%? How much should go to sloppy play, being out-smarted, out-muscled, poor execution, dropped passes, poorly thrown passes, fumbles, not staying in the gaps, poor tackling, etc, etc, etc. I saw all of that this year and then some. Mike Tomlin is the 12th-winningest coach in the history of the NFL. Next year he'll most likely make it in the top 10. Who are you going to replace him with that has anything close to that kind of record? Steeler fans are some of the most ungrateful and spoiled fans in the NFL. If Tomlin were to be fired his phone would blow up in a matter of minutes from nearly half the teams in the league, at least, clamoring to have him be their next head coach. Let's look at OC and DC coaching and getting better players and improved play from those who are here before we knee-jerk and overreact. Lastly....the Steelers offense is the 4th youngest offense in the league and that's figuring in a 36-year-old QB in the equation. There's a lot of maturity and experience that's needed on the o-line (2 rookies and a 2nd year guy). If you know anything about football it all starts in the trenches. As the o-line goes so goes the offense. As the offense goes so goes the defense. The Steelers (for a long time) have had horrible luck in getting great talent on the o-line, AND finding a really good QB since Ben left. The Steelers have also had bad luck in finding great DB's. We've had one or two in recent years but the last time we had a shutdown defensive backfield was when Polamalu was in his prime. Much of this falls on GMs and owners more than the HC when it comes to going after prime free agents. The Steelers rarely trade up in the draft. That's ownership and GM decisions, not Tomlin making that decision. That needs to stop. The Steelers need to wheel and deal on draft day and aggressively go after the best free agents, and they consistently year after year refuse to do that. That's, again, on ownership and GM. NOT TOMLIN !!!! He's not the problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@BiggieTrismegistus You do know there are more coaches than just the HC, OC, and DC, don't you? There are o-line and d-line coaches, RB coaches, WR coaches, DB coaches, linebacker coaches, etc. The Steelers are keeping Tomlin, as they should. As well as Smith and Austin. The others, according to Jerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette are on the hot seat and many, if not most are gone. Their job is to cultivate talent and provide the best training and current techniques to excel at their position. If those coaches are not doing the job then Tomlin and company won't get the best play from those players. Again...Tomlin and the OC and DC draw up the X's and O's. They need the talent in order for those plays to succeed. It's also on Khan and Rooney to get top talent in there. Something Tomlin has some say but he doesn't control the budget or checkbooks.
Ive never been a Tomlin fan, he wasn't qualified for the job. Management is just as responsible for the teams failure. Offer Vikings DC Brian Flores or lions OC Ben Johnson the Steelers HC job either can be HC/ DC or HC/ OC.
Tomlin Won with a Super Bowl team left by Cowher. Cowher only retired due to his wife passing so it wasn’t a throw in the towel thing Mike hasn’t done anything significant since having that Roster. Now Tomlin did have the killer Bee’s which is arguably the best offense ever but Tomlin didn’t do anything with them that’s the biggest failure in the history of the NFL. Tomlin is cooked he isn’t a good coach the Steelers organization is a great organization I think some of the worse coaches ever could make this team 8+ wins a year easy.
I agree that he’s underperforming. I just worry about whoever replaces him will be worse. We’ve had 3 coaches in my lifetime. Who’s the guy to replace him?
To quote Tomlin, "We don't live in our fears." Stop living in your fears. You are right that it could be worse, there are lots of 'what ifs' in the world. But this isn't working, we've had 18 years of results to comb through and it's been a decade since we've had good results. It's time to pull the plug. There are options. Brian Flores. Ben Johnson. Vrabel, Jesse Minter, Kellen Moore, I'd give any one of those guys a shot and there are more than just those guys available.
@ not living in fear I just don’t want to go back to losing lol. We’re always so close and unfortunately always let down when it counts. I’m all for getting a new coach. I just want a winner if we do.
@SuperKaos777 You worry about the person replacing him being worse in your own words. Accepting the same results over and over without being willing to take a risk to change it is living in your fears. It is impossible to know someone is a winner without giving them the opportunity to prove so. We didn't know if Tomlin was a winner when we hired him either. Same can be said for Noll and Cowher. We can't keep up 3 coaches in X years forever. Not everyone will have a 15+ season tenure here. At some point we will have a dud, and we need to accept that possibility and embrace the risk.
@ you’re probably right. I didn’t like it when we hired Tomlin. Maybe because I didn’t want to see cower leave. I say give him one more year and see what happens.
@@SuperKaos777 I can understand that. I was at that point a year or two ago. For me the last two seasons have been the straw that broke the camel's back. I don't think he'll ever be a bad coach, I just don't think we'll go anywhere with him.

Ah yes, the annual “Fire (fill in the name)” diatribe. This week it’s Tomlin. Beginning of the season, Steelers weren’t supposed to win but 5 or 6 games. Ends up with 10, but had to go on the road against a superior team. Fire Tomlin so that you can feel better about the losses you’ll still accumulate on Sundays; he’ll be fine. He’ll probably immediately find another head gig, coordinator job or end up in a studio, all while the Steelers are paying him not to coach the team. But what about his staff? A lot of people employed by the head coach who aren’t making the type of money he is. Suddenly have to uproot their families and update their resumes, with their last place of employment stating “terminated”. Really wish we used that same scrutiny with the people we elect to carry the nuclear football that we use on the people who carry a clipboard. We’re about to swear in a guy who last time in office spent his last 3 months ignoring a pandemic that killed over a million people, crying about an election while playing golf and trying to overthrow the government. But I guess at least he didn’t lose 8 straight playoff games.

Love the video, I do have one question how much blame goes to Art Rooney II for continuing to accept mediocrity and playoff failure. The ultimate buck stops with him and to me it seems like the championship culture died when Dan Rooney passed away. AR2 doesn’t care about winning, all he cares for is his Ireland relationships and trying to get the Steelers to play a game in Ireland

Going 10-7 and getting the 20th overall pick every year isn’t doing us favors. So what if we go 5-12? We get good picks, build an actual roster with a new philosophy, then turn it around eventually. The way I see it, going 10-7 and never winning a playoff game or even missing the playoffs is just as bad if not worse than going 4-13.

Mike tomlin maximizes the roster hes given year in and year out. He loses to great teams because hes in post franchize qb hell. Most teams go on 10 year droughts of being uncompetitive. If the steelers followed your recommendation theyd look like the pats rn. You have the assesment skills of a prime woody johnson. All your hate and vitriol should be focused on coaches like sean payton who had 5 sub 500 seasons with drew brees at the helm and kep his damn job. I bet you give rim jobs on the regular. You suck and should be fired from your job. When given all the tools for the job tomlin wins and hes capable of remaining competitive when you dont have a top flight roster. Thats rare for a coach to be both a finisher and a builder. Hes the only guy with a has been at qb (tampa doesnt count trash division) in the damn playoffs. God i love baker mayfield. Could even hand the damn ball off. Scrub.
You Steelers fans are so spoiled. No one outside of Pittsburgh had the Steelers winning the division or even making the playoffs. The Steelers have battled injuries, have lack of cohesion due to new players/coaches,do not have a franchise quarterback at the moment, and don’t have an offensive line. Give Tomlin a top 10 qb, solidify both Lines and we’re now talking about you guys competing for a Super Bowl. I would love to know who out there has more experience, better relationships with players and coaches, better football knowledge, and is more professional? With Tomlin the Steelers have a chance to still be competitive while rebuilding. No one can compete in this league without a star qb and at least a good O-line. Not to mention you guys are competing in a division with two teams with MVP caliber players. Of course you will struggle until you have someone like a burrow or Lamar Jackson. Stop being so idealistic. The playoffs are a point of concern but don’t forget these past couple years no one has even expected the Steelers to be competitive and they still find a way to make the playoffs. Without Tomlin the Steelers would be looking like the jets at the moment. It’s very hard to win in this league let alone win a Super Bowl. We can’t all be the chiefs don’t let these past couple years discern you. Half the league would give anything to have what the Steelers have now currently. Let’s all calm down and start looking at things with a less idealistic perspective. Not saying automatically keep Tomlin forever but at least consider these factors before blaming everything on him.
You don't know what you're talking about. Let me help clear this up: "No one outside of Pittsburgh had the Steelers winning the division or even making the playoffs." Says who? The Steelers are there every year. Every team battles injury, every team has new players. Tomlin had Big Ben, but after Cowhers team and culture wore off, could do nothing with him, and imo, forced his retirement for no good reason. The Steelers lost Villanueva, DeCastro and Pouncey all nearly at the same time, three or four years ago and have NEVER repaired that O line. " With Tomlin the Steelers have a chance to still be competitive while rebuilding." What? Who says the Steelers are rebuilding? They're not. Here's the problem, with the way the Steelers lost these last 5 games it looks like the team has quit. And if that's the truth and Tomlin has lost the team, none of it really matters, he has to go, period.
That’s the issue. You lost Ben, Vilanuava, Decastro, and Puncey. You have to rebuild after that. Tj Watt has been injury prone, you have a brand new wide receiver core, a subpar O-line that is very young, and no one at Qb. Be realistic no one was picking the Steelers to win anything. You fans have no grip on reality then set the bar WAY too high and blame Tomlin when your fantasies don’t play out. When the Ravens won their last Super Bowl they lost nearly the whole team the next season. For years it was mediocre play. But do you know why? Aging qb who was only good in the playoffs, ray lewis retiring having to reshape the defense, injuries lead the league for a couple years. Fans wanted harbaugh’s head. But it took rebuilding and drafting Lamar to compete at a high level again. Once again harbaugh is looked as one of the best in the game and the ravens probably would have never drafted Lamar if they moved on from him. Just be patient and stop thinking it’s all or nothing every year when you really should be rebuilding
You’re probably right when it comes to the locker room it’s unfortunate. Hoping they can turn it around its a better league when the steelers are at their best.
@@furious24styless What? Am I supposed to make the decision to fire Tomlin myself on behalf of the Steelers org? The purpose of the video was to show that he’s not all he’s chopped up to be. Still 0 arguments as to why he should be head coach.

Do you know how stupid you are going to look if we manage to do some damage in the playoffs how we intended early on ? Granted that’s a big if but still. I don’t mean to judge but that’s some sucka sh!t bro. Have faith in your team or shut up, anything negative is a distraction. I get your frustrated w tomlin I mean we all are but we got to lock in. And our coach is Mike T. Who the hell do you think he is Ron Rivera ? Tomlins a good coach that can pull upset wins at any time. But Maybe it is time for us to walk away from him, that’s fine, it’s not bc he sucks it’s bc we’ve gone as far as we could’ve gone with him over the years, ,our organization with deal with it. We’re the Steelers bruh this is a well ran Franchise. Just sucks that people like you will discredit him. Watch him go somewhere else and create a winning program. Every team in the league would drop dead for him at the snap of a finger. If that’s the case than so be it, but when the media and everyone else is sh!tting on us for letting our coach walk don’t complain. Matter a fact if you know a potential coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers pls let us all know now. Better yet just email it to the Rooneys.
AR2 is an idiot and he's destroying this team because he's not even half the man his father and grandfather were. He's going to let the Steelers wither on the vine bc he's afraid to make "The Rooney Rule" look bad by firing the first coach hired because of it. It is what it is.
It's the same old cycle with him he can win regular season games but he can't win the big games when they count in the playoffs how can he be a great coach if he can't win games in the playoffs he can't even get to the second round of the playoffs this dude is not a great coach you do not know nothing about football and it shows when you open your mouth and say stupid stuff like that
I’m surprised that this information isn’t getting more traction.
@@douglashearon4823 white or black, doesn’t matter, he’s just not getting it done. Thanks for the support man!
@@vincentbonner3453 I didn’t make that take.
His take is not valid??? How about 3-14 in the playoffs since 2010?? How about no playoff wins since 2016?? How about having never hired a competent coordinator?? How about not retaining Brian Flores as DC when he had him in the building?? Any of those arguments valid??
Ps r probably a tether and ur wife probably white 😂
Dude I’ve been on this train for a decade now. Last night was absolutely no surprise
The Steelers mode is stale. I'm a Ravens fan who was surprised when they didn't go for 4th and inches. He blamed Lamar for the loss...
Went for it on 4th and long, punted on 4th and inches. He talks about not living in his fears, but he plays ball like it’s the 80’s. Completely defensive strategy with no splash plays or passing. All running between the guards.
Some fans blamed the drone...I wish I was making that up. I figured they would play us more aggressive but they were afraid to tackle Henry.
i totally agree with you.
Besides no one talks about how he screwed Rudolf who was spouse to take over after Big Ben retired he also takes no responsibility for anything always someone else’s fault..OVERATED BIG TIME.Glad I sold my tickets years ago.
nothing wrong with masen - better than TRUBINSKI
Mason rudolph is trash. Stop it.
@@lostone9700 ain’t any worse then then the 2 bums the Steelers have now….
It’s crazy how he’s still here
I'd trade a couple losing seasons for a playoff win.
I agree with everything you said! He has ruined the Steeler Mystique!
They need all new coaches !!! Period !

No Steeler coach, arguably in history, has done less with more talent than, Mike Tomlin.
People also forget that one of his last wins in the playoffs were against Marvin Lewis Bengals team in 2015 where they gifted wrap it for the steelers in the final couple minutes.
Oh ya just because of the burfict hit
@@bobbyraejohnsonAnd Pac Man's penalty for touching a referee.
Even big ben talked about this and most of us fans looked past this and now look, and its gonna burn until 2027 or until real major changes are made
Even Utree a bonafide yinzer has been clamoring for Tomlin to be fired and change to happen. He is vocally critical of the Steelers.
Tomlin has always thrown coordinators under the bus. Hell, he threw Dick Lebeau and Bruce Aaron's under the bus. He barely eno9ugh to keep his job.
Cowher was the far superior coach in comparison and its not even close!
Yet they have the same win/loss record @ .619% and the same superbowl record @ 1-1.
You’re wrong. MANY natives of Pittsburgh have been saying this for YEARS!!
You know it’s funny also as the years went by and Tomlin had more control of the team it kept getting worse and inconsistent.
Lol, I love the "he doesmt have a QB, he doesnt have the rosters these other coaches have, he doesnt have great assistant coaches" as if it has nothing to do with him.
TJ Watt shouldn't have even bothered suiting up. He had literally zero impact on the game.
About to be 9 years without a playoff win. Terribly coached team. I’m actually not gonna be mad if Steelers lose tomorrow. If they win, that’s just another excuse for him to stay.
That was my thinking which sucked because when you’re a fan you want them to win.
@@bobbyraejohnsonI'm a Washington fan. I wanted them to lose for years until we turned it around.
ALSo all these years later; another point - Look at his coaching tree - Legacy wise - exactly - There is NO TREE. Not even a SHRUB.....
TOMLIN needs to go
He's coached in Pittsburgh one more season that Harbaugh has in Baltimore. Harbaugh has been vastly more successful.
I wish the current Rooneys would sell the franchise because they don't know how to run it.
I ask fellow Ravens fans when they want Harbs gone.
I said what u said" in 2009
I better hear the fan base chanting FIRE TOMLIN at the stadium next season.
Common man, get real ! M Tomlin has won many Post Season Trophies, they are just “ Participation Trophies”. The Standard is TheStandard. And the standard is just that.
Tomlin actually said that he proudly carries the One & Done baggage. WTH. No Zay Flowers even. 8 years - zero playoff wins!
You know I think Tomlin needs to go but If you put in context what he said he was talking was motivation.
Don't forget that he's going to make $16 million in 2025. He hasn't earned any of that.
I’m a Steeler fan and I 100% agree with you
I couldn’t agree with you more and have felt this way since 2019
I said it in 2013 after the Green Bay win. The Steelers won despite some of the worst clock management I had ever seen. I’ve seen worse from him since. It was obvious that all he was doing was managing games, not coaching. Ben should have one or two more rings.
Funny you mention Marty Schottenheimer. I’ve thought for a while they were very similar.
It really is embarrassing. Team is forever mediocre
Steeler Nation just has to stop going to Steelers games, zero attendance and change will happen over night!
You are completely right about all of this, but this franchise won't change. They don't seem to care. It's like they're fine with this.
U been right
Fans must stop going to games. It won't take long before Rooney will have to act.
Quit letting him hire personal has a big ego
Fantastic 1000% correct
I totally agree with you about Mike Tomlin, I felt that way for 10 years, I felt he should have been fired 10 years ago so we're on the same page as regards to Mike Tomlin.
You continue to fail to mention how Cowher lost 4 AFC Championship Games at home in Pittsburgh. That was heavily traumatic on me as a fan. I’d rather see the Steelers go 13-4 and lose in the first round of the playoffs instead seeing them get into playoffs at 9-7 and lose in the AFC Championship game.
We love Tomlin as a person in Pittsburgh but not as an X's and O's coach.
Do we know if the Steelers have an Analytics guy/Department? My guess is, Tomlin’s ego wouldn’t let it happen…
The cycle continues…… sigh
I've been waiting to see Tomlin's strengths show through from his obvious flaws since day 1... I'm still waiting.
Dude great video! I have said these things for years! Tomlinson’s=Bomlin. He’s the poster child for complacency.
Schottenheimer never won a Super Bowl
And? I was using it as a rhetorical argument for the playoff record since his superbowl win 17 years ago.
@@Raccoon_TyphoonDoesn’t matter how long ago because he is a super bowl winning coach and Schottenheimer isn’t…..case closed
I’m done defending Tomlin, but I’m not blaming him either. It’s time to shift blame on the management & ownership of the Steelers.
Ok
So who are we going to get!!
Business is business and it's past time for tomlin and the steelers to part ways
I started to think he needed to go after that Jags game, was sold he needed to go after the Browns game.
He should have left when Ben left. He is terrible against smart coaches.
Coaching can fix pretty much every issue you brought up about how the players are performing.
Spot on man he needs to go
Ive never been a Tomlin fan, he wasn't qualified for the job.

Yes, 15 years ago, with a staff and roster he didnt make.
In that time since the eagles fired reid, they have been to 2 superbowls and won.

Supposed to win 5 or 6 games? Everyone I know who actually follows this team predicted at least 9 bare minimum. Some were thinking 11 or 12. Our roster is much better than last years but the results are the same yet again.
Weirdest comment ever. What does Trump have to do with any of this? Your TDS is insane
@@SteelerLee910 Rooney owns more blame for sure, he has been hands off completely. The reason I called out Tomlin is because he can be fired, the owners can’t.
@ very true however there’s one way to hurt an owner, stop going to the games, stop buying the merch. Hurting an owner’s pockets will make change
@@SteelerLee910 I don’t agree, they make the majority of their money off of advertising, gambling kickbacks, etc. Ticket sales are a part of it but not enough to hurt them that badly. People should absolutely stop buying tickets until change occurs though.
@ any type of lost money to an owner is a concern to them. Hence why they’re successful now. Counting every dollar. So seeing a decline in ticket sales and merchandise while having these people in power would show something maybe not right away but it would possibly put more pressure to bring a better product
HIM AND BILL COWER ARE THE SAME.THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY QUARTERBACKS UNTIL THEY GOT BEN. THE SUCCESS OF THE QUARTERBACK IS NOT JUST ON A HEAD COACH, BUT IT'S ON THE FUCKIN GENERAL MANAGER. I'M NOT A STEELERS, FAN AT ALL, I'M A BALTIMORE RAVENS FAN I MUCH RATHER HAVE MIKE TOMLIN. THEN JOHN HARBAUGH, ANY DAY, JOHN HAS A 3 TIME MVP, MIKE TOMLIN DOESN'T HAVE THAT, SO WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?? 🤔 FROM WHERE I SIT, MY HEAD COACH HAS MORE OF A HOT SEAT THAN MIKE TOMLIN.
Cowher won many playoff games and went to a Super Bowl without Ben Roethlisberger LMAO.
Great video
HE IS NOT GREAT COACH
Tomlin has always had a large number of detractors, since the beginning, like Terry Bradshaw. I was not one of them. You don't get a medal for being right about something that a large number of Steelers fans were already aware of. I will give you props for seeing what you saw, but your points are no longer unique or praiseworthy. Well presented video, though!
@@arthurdanu1809 I called this out 5 years ago and the consensus then was that Tomlin was amazing, why would you fire him? The consensus on Tomlin has been nothing but resounding support even among Steelers fans up until now.
@@arthurdanu1809 I’m not asking for a medal, I’m asking for rhetorical apologies from all the numbskulls who said I was a racist idiot for saying Tomlin should be fired.
If they fire Tomlin, who replaces him? The Steelers will be even worse without him.
@@MrKillian1983 literally not an argument. Teams fire coaches all the time and replace them with new hires. A coordinator like Brady on the bills, or even a guy like Doug Pederson who has more recent playoff successes and won a Super Bowl with Nick Foles and Nelson Agholor. Not to mention college coaches.
Maybe a season or 2 but at least we wouldn’t get our hopes up and just let down in the playoffs.
There's no guarantee the Steelers would be worse or better with a different coach. But as long as Tomlin is there we ain't winning a playoff game.
Dude I have been saying the exact same for 5 years also. Tomlin is awful I agree with everything you say here. I am boycotting games because he has ruined it for me. He killed the culture Noll started and Cowher continued. Mike is a complete fraud.
Steelers were 4-2 not 9-2 dude with JF
@@joeyrahimi1579 I said after the Steelers made the decision to bench Justin fields the Steelers soared to a 9-2 record. I know we were 4-2 with fields. We were 6-5 with Wilson.
I would honestly love to see Tomlin go somewhere else because you guys don’t deserve him! Any team would be lucky to have him
You’re probably right when it comes to the locker room it’s unfortunate. Hoping they can turn it around its a better league when the steelers are at their best.
All that crying you did in this long ass video just to sit back and watch the organization make the decision on they’re own time. UR A FAN DUDE😂😂
@@furious24styless What? Am I supposed to make the decision to fire Tomlin myself on behalf of the Steelers org? The purpose of the video was to show that he’s not all he’s chopped up to be. Still 0 arguments as to why he should be head coach.
@@furious24styless their* btw
@ Today will be the most anticipated most important Steelers ravens game in quite some time. Everything is set in stone and you decided to make a video crying abt how bad our coach is days before the game. But Maybe it is time for us to walk away from him, that’s fine, it’s not bc he sucks it’s bc we’ve gone as far as we could’ve gone with him over the years,
,our organization with deal with it.
@ how are we feeling after another blowout loss
@ same as before gotta let tomlin walk, I appreciate everything he’s done but that’s it. Still I won’t discredit his success tho
90% of your opinions are just that. You know absolutely nothing aboutbwho runs this organization.
Incompetent people run the organization
AR2 is an idiot and he's destroying this team because he's not even half the man his father and grandfather were. He's going to let the Steelers wither on the vine bc he's afraid to make "The Rooney Rule" look bad by firing the first coach hired because of it. It is what it is.
"Opinions are opinions" sounds a lot like "the standard is the standard". I think we've found Mike Tomlin's burner account.
This page sucks Tomlin is one of the best coach of all time.
Prove it
Without saying he's never had a losing season please explain what makes him great. I'll wait
Great rebuttal, solid argument
It's the same old cycle with him he can win regular season games but he can't win the big games when they count in the playoffs how can he be a great coach if he can't win games in the playoffs he can't even get to the second round of the playoffs this dude is not a great coach you do not know nothing about football and it shows when you open your mouth and say stupid stuff like that
Mike Tomlin is a fraud. He is not a defensive genius by any means and has no clue about offense. He is a barking dog who spews out word salads.
Do you want Doug Peterson 🤔
