Cobie is in remission from ovarian cancer which apparently she discovered at 25 (in 2007) i.e. before the first interview here. It spread and has required her to undergo multiple surgical procedures. My heart goes out to this lovely woman who, notwithstanding all of that, got married and had kids, and seems always to make the best of life and keep smiling. She displays enormous courage and I really do admire her.

I met her after she did a Broadway show, and she couldn’t have been nicer!! She was happy to take selfies, and really kind to her fans. None of her characters can actually be as cool as she is.
@@ChetYoubetchya-it5zv Turns out she has a British mom, so it's more like "How dare you get in the way of my colonization!" All kidding aside: I told her she had a great English accent for the show and she said "Great, I can tell my English mom you said that." Like she was relieved someone finally told her her accent was good 🤣
The more I watch these multiple appearance videos, the more I realize how much Craig really does just go off the cuff every time because he very often asks the guest the same series of questions in their various appearances.
I'd love to see a compilation of the best Geoff/Guest interactions, like Russell Brand pouring his drink down his head, Ron Perlman taking a photo with him and of course his eternal rivalry with Kristen Bell
In 1965 London Mountain’s name was officially changed to Whistler Mountain, which Alta Lake locals had always called the mountain because of the whistling sound of hoary marmots which greeted summer hikers.
I'm from the Netherlands but I had to rewind a couple times before I knew what she was talking about at 5:03. It's 'hagelslag' for those who are wondering. Btw really enjoying the vids, keep it up :)
With Cobie, Craig seemed to forget he'd done all that background material in the previous show-so he just did it all over again. Surprised she didn't say, "Hey, we did all this stuff already!" Did all those starlets finally blend into one in his head over the years, until he got so bored he just wanted out of the show? He seemed to like her, but his real favourites were those ballsy gals who flirted big time and gave as good as they got.
It reminds me of the Jay Leno anecdote where he's interviewing some girl from The Bachelor or something like that and he's very bored and can hardly pay attention, then a girl asks for his autograph after the show and he asks her what her name is and she laughs and tells her it's her (the one he just interviewed).
I think sometimes he repeats things is because of new viewers. People who missedthe first interview would not know the background so he does the repeats. Catch people up. Or maybe his admitted years of substance abuse left him a bit forgetful. I don’t really care because he is too funny.
If you watch enough of these, it's obvious that Craig has a "conversational stack". He runs through a standard series of conversation-starting questions until they find something interesting to talk about. If he becomes friends with them outside their show then the interviews will be different. If they call him on the repetition which only rarely happens then he'll change it up a bit. But it could be one to two years in between interviews and he might have talked to 300 people since he talked to them.
@@macmcleod1188 Yes, and Craig would often admit anyway that he was no way into guest research, hence the showy CV card tear-up as an interview began. If he ran out of chat (pretty rare!) he could always fall back on an 'awkward pause' gag. With so many other _apparently_ live shows clearly scripted and rehearsed, the risk and spontaneity of Craig’s LLS format is what I miss most.
an interesting fact about the origins of vampires is that it started from a village that people would die and their left over families would look pale and very weak and then they would die 1 by 1 during the years and the religious folks linked that to the only logic they could find which was "the dead relatives are sucking the life force , so you must dig their grave and dismember them and put a wooden stake in their heart and turn them over OR burn all their vital organs and feed the ashes to the living sick ones... i forgot the name of the village , long story short it was Porphyria and rabies , often mixed with tuberculosis
5:58 I always respected Craig for that…if you are a hot female (as Colbie is) who wears boots to the show, he will point it out. He appreciates how hot they are, and I totally agree. I don’t know why they are so hot, they just are. 😎
AHAHAHAHA I was looking at the english subtitles on the video thumbnail right before clicking on the vid and it literally said "Copy Folders everybody!"
I just realised that Craig finds Canadian women abit boring. Cobie Smulders and Sarah Chalke he remembered the least, both Canadians. Because they have a normal polite vibe. Both women are still great persons ofcourse.
Abit frustrating when Craig interrupted her while she was describing Earnest Shack-something. What was the issue ?. He stopped and said it was a legal thing ?. What ?. It's in her second appearance within the first minute or two.
When you're doing a talk show you interview flocks of people for a short time, but then may not see them again for years. It's easy to forget what your last conversation with a particular person was about.
I'm portuguese and I questioned myself about that before: there are INtros and there are OUTros... The intro introduces you IN the show and the outro gets you OUT of the show
The three lovely ladies on the far right in the Outro? Gorgeous one and all. Admittedly, the lady on the very farthest right is the one I find myself watching most often. (As attractive as Dana/Beth is, I like the backstage ladies.) I think they are hair or make up stylists? Anyway. Whatever they do. The lady with the red top, short sleeve black cardigan, jeans, and flip flops, with what looks almost like natural blonde hair but probably is not (vs the very platinum blonde hair of the younger one third from the right).
