Always thought this song was underrated. Dre and them are talking down to the younger generation coming up in rap. Dre donated all the money from this album to Compton, where he's from. So he literally didn't do it for the money

Best Friend is just a beautifully written song, Super deep lyrics from both Yella and Em. The beat is sick, both flow so well and have great cadence. Eminem's verse on that song even tho so many people are asking for it is still underrated, his word play mixed with how deep and personal the verse is to him and his life is incredible.

I used to have a favorite Em verse, but his Medicine Man verse, Best friend verse, The last verse of Bad Guy, his verse on No Love, his verse on Lucky You, his verse on Caterpillar or Homicide, or Not Alike... At this point my favorite Em verse is whichever I just listened to. He just hits so hard and so different in each one.

I knew when I first heard this that Eminem's verse was special. Btw, Eminem will help write Dr. Dre's verses and even record the verse first as a reference for Dre. Dre is a perfectionist with the beat and wants live instruments and is very detail oriented. Eminem learned to produce from Dre, watching him and asking questions about why he put this here and put this there. Super team for sure!
As someone who listened to Em for as long as i can fucking remember...I'll give you a few choices. All bangers of course. Straight up certified. "3 a.m.", "Role Model", "Stay Wide Awake", and "The Reunion" ft. Royce Da 5'9. You can't go wrong with any of these.
