I think this match shows just how ridiculously great lcw was, in their head to head think this is the third time viktor has beaten lcw vs eleven losses to him. Viktor had to be at his absolute best whilst lcw had umpire and service judge against him. We're all used to seeing lin Dan beat lcw in epic matches but to keep it in perspective lcw dominated every other top player in his h2h record including taufik and Peter gade

Umpires and service judges are given way too much power. They really need to raise the professionalism and credibility of these judges by having actions taken against them when a bad call is made. Otherwise they feel almighty and just abuse their power according to their mood. And let's be completely honest. No one human is 100% impartial. They definitely will have lesser patience/dislike towards either one. It's easy. Ask the umpire to bet his own money on a winning player and you will see who he/she favors.

Great and excellent performance from both !. Axelsen in his prime time best and LCW in his still old time best . LCW was unusually peak best after his 2012 London Olympic and after his wonderful marriage 💑 until he was momentumly broken by the false alleged doping scandal and the inactive competition.
