Those sounds bring back memories. I've had a couple RD350's and a RD400. Love that two stroke burble at idle. And if you were my neighbor, i wouldn't mind hearing them on a daily basis. Cheers from New Brunswick!
Hi thanks for the great video - I have a 74 H2B 750 that I have fully restored - we struggled to get the engine covers polished up to the shine you have on yours, how did you polich yours? - many thanks Darren (NZ)
Thanks for reaching out. The biggest thing when polishing is all in the foundation. By that I mean sanding out all the imperfections and going in multiple stages up to 1000 grit before going to the buffing wheels. With the wheels I generally use a 4 stage process to the final polish. Make sure to keep all your wheels separate so you do not contaminate each other.
Maybe that adreniline rush will get you through till the spring but I doubt it! I know my ride Wed only left me wanting more triple vibrations. Happy new year! Keep the rubber side down.
We don't get Snow in Downtown Toronto any more either. The Nprth Pole has moved and no More Santa, Dag Nam it! I really wanted that new ZX4rr. Grrr ... and cut down a live tree for nuttin.

Brad, Glad I could bring back some happy memories for you. I wish all my neighbours were like you haha
It’s wild how you can hear the rings buzzing when you rev it, love it.
Your neighbors must love you ......
hahaha I honestly can't complain. I live in a small town and most people re used to dirtbikes and farm equipment etc
Mate, if I was your neighbour I would have been out there cheering you on to get right up it! I have a KR1s, RZ350, RD400, RS125.
There's a house on my street for sale...come on down!
that was fun to watch! Cheers for the New Year!
Thanks so much! Happy new year to you as well. Ride safe!
I remember that sound when i was young. Super Video.
Thanks!
400 sounds sweet. But I think it's the induction sound of the bigger engine that that does it for me.
my first bike was a 71 H1 500,pretty quick and left no mosquitos alive
That's awesome!
What a sound!!!!!! Superb!!
Thanks!
Tell us about the differences between the two. The 400 really sounds great!
I can definitely do that for you. Once our winter is over I can pull them out again for a side by side comparison
Nice bikes!! = Love the KH400 sound
Thanks! It's got a great crackle with the higgspeed chambers

It was you telling me about riding the H1 that motivated me to pull them out haha
@@PetesClassicCycle I have been told I use to be a bad influence. Glad I could help motivate. Great video I enjoyed the special effects .

Had both of these bikes back in the day. Loved them but the rears were squirrelly on rain grooved pavement. ALL TORQUE
These are definitely not the best handling bikes by any means. Probably what aided to their wicked reputation
Remember the exaust smell. Great
Bet your popular with your neighbors😀
We get along just fine :D
you got some nice neighbours
I wish they had the same sentiment towards me haha Only kidding.. I live in a great neighbourhood full of motor heads.
When you enjoy the sound and smell of kawa triples so do your neighbours
I sure hope they do.. hahaha
Just muffled enough to take out the crackle on overrun.
That 400 is a S3A..not a KH😊
Nope, it's a '78 KH400. A lot has been changed on it though if you're looking for specific details
