Mate, these videos are amazing. The quality of both workmanship and video production is unreal. This channel honestly deserves more recognition. Cant wait for more!
Initially I thought that gloss black would be a poor choiche, but then, looking at the completed engine I have to admit that it looks like a proper g9 masterpiece. Even tho I would have used a brownier color for the inner cover instead of that light grey one. Nice work! And as always thanks for these videos
Great content bub. Enjoy watching restorations. You got that old RM 125 looking like showroom quality!!! The attention to the small details makes all the difference. Definitely going to subscribe. 👍🏼💪🏼 🏍️
Great work! I love your videos. I just right I might proffer some advice on gasket making. Your method was effective, but difficult and tedious. Next time, take your gasket paper / material and lay it on top of your case (or whatever you're making it for) and use the ball side of a ball peen hammer on the edges and the bolt holes. It doesn't take much force (especially with soft metals like magnesium and aluminum) and makes a flawless gasket every time.
Very nice mate. Absolutely love your videos and the effort you put into each restoration. I always learn something and also there's now another option of method i can consider for my next resto :) Good on ya :D
Great job! I have an oven that I can use. I wonder how the cerakote compares to powder coating? It seems like a good way to go/ I want to do something for the 1995 CR250 that I have stripped down to the frame.
Hey Mate, rad vid. Your spray gun gravity cup should be metal, not plastic. The coating can react with the plastic which potentially messes with the finish. You can treat that as Cerakote best pactice.
Hey mate jut wondering where you got your Oven from and what size it is? I’ve been doing my own powdercoat for a while now and I’m getting into cerakote, my oven is too small and my workshop doesn’t have 15 amp plugs for big ovens. Thanks.
Stunning work! Do you have an oven just for doing that type of work? Great idea if so. Kind of want to take the engine out of mine and clean it up more 😅
Yes, I now have a garage oven! Beats stinking the whole house out using the one in the kitchen. A small bench top oven like mine is relatively cheap on eBay...
@@G9Garage perfect! Working on updating my garage to get a sandblasting cabinet, new compressor, and a new workbench. I'll check out and see if I can find an oven like that.
Man I dont know how you dont have more subscribers your content is great and music goes well with everything and you have good idea what your doing I'm subbed to 2vintage he dose alright work but nuthen compared to you your up there with Cameron Namelia he dose stuff with dirt bikes and dose great work I would consider 2vintage for a laugh now and then and Cameron for great ideas on how to get your bikes looking good
Hey G9 Garage. Why not take the spring and needle out of the 125 and the. Take the the kehihn carb out of the 250 so the rm250 looks more original because you can see where the throttle position sensor was on the kehihn. Let me know. Thanks.
Your videos are therapeutic. Seeing beautiful vintage 2 strokes being restored to their former glory is beautiful. Keep up the great work!
This guy ... It's like the Barry Manilow of engine building.... Motoporn... I've never wasted so much time and felt so good about it!!!

Cant wait for more!
That looks really nice!! I can’t wait to see the finished bike!!
I like how you make the engine look allot newer and better and keeping its originality without going over the top 👌
Please make more videos!, these are amazing to watch and I can’t wait for more.
Been looking forward to another part of the project. Great video.
So satisfying watching someone who takes pride in their work, great videos!
You really know what you are doing. Great work mate.
Best bike I've ever owned .
Winter rebuild here we come ! I just need to find another one now.
The motor looks great I think I’ll copy that black contrast on my next one 👍🏻
Finally ...
I was missing your videos .keep them coming mate ..well done .
Exceptional craftsmanship once again. That engine looks unreal. Your vids are by far the best on UA-cam. Please never stop doing this. 👍🏻
Another great video, small things like what paint you use for engine casings and baking for an hour is something I would never know until now!
Mate, great work, great production, fantastic end result. Well done

Youre back! Great video as always. never fails to get me excited to see whats new on the project.
Awesome, love it when a new G9 video comes out, great work as always!
Wow mate! That's looking phenomenal!!
Your videos are so relaxing
Mums may not gonna like it when you use her baking oven mate hehe. Anyway, awesome restoration video. Wish i had machines like you have at home..
Can’t wait for the next one 👍🏼
Beautiful job bruv. It looks fantastic. 👍
You are incredibly clever - keep it up!
Nice video. Can’t wait for the next one.

Agree! If you look at some of my earlier vids I use that exact technique! Thanks for watching.
Great stuff keep up the great work.

melhor canal de restauração que tem no youtube
I have been waiting for another video great vid keep up the good work one of my fav UA-camrs😀😀
Fab work, as usual.
Cheers.
That looks really nice man. But, i wish that you do some paint job on the left of the engine.
Keep on makin a great work man. I really love this man.
Beautiful!!😍
Great work! Need an apprentice by any chance! lol. Might have to give up your day job and restore dirt bikes! haha. Keep up the awesome work. Cheers
I wish!
Great build! I would never go through with the hasslee on doing your own gaskets though.
Back when SUZUKI was dominate in motocross in the 125 class - today the 4 strokes have really ruined the sport.
Great job! I have an oven that I can use. I wonder how the cerakote compares to powder coating? It seems like a good way to go/ I want to do something for the 1995 CR250 that I have stripped down to the frame.
The Cerakote is a lot thinner. I much prefer it to powdercoat
Mr gaskets gasket i see. Very nice
Very nice but you should of scotchbrited the main casings to brightened them up lite new 😉 cool build
Hey Mate, rad vid. Your spray gun gravity cup should be metal, not plastic. The coating can react with the plastic which potentially messes with the finish. You can treat that as Cerakote best pactice.
He mate, thanks for the comment. The gun came from the Australian Cerakote distributer!

Well done bro
i love your videos!!!!!!!!!!
I'm trying to rebuild my 92 rm125 and I can't find a forged piston in the right size. Do you know what piston was used in this bike? Thanks
what carburetor setup do you have? I mean needle position, airscrew ....
lucky that motor was in great Nick
Hello I have a question, which spark plugs are installed?

Stunning work! Do you have an oven just for doing that type of work? Great idea if so.

In what temperature should i bake it and for how long?

Awesome.
Just looooooove it.
Do you by any chance have the flywheel nut size I lost mine for my 97
Nice video ♥️
Did it still run before the rebuild? didnt look too bad but now looks brand new, great job.
Cheers! Yes, it was a good running engine.
Amazing job's ! What thé name of the song? Thks
Do they do Cerakote in a aluminum silver mat G9 garage
Yes!
Why don't you also cerakote engine housings? it's a bit pity I think, but good job...
Saved completely stripping the engine. This build isn’t a restoration, just a tidy up. From a factory, they are raw aluminium anyway.
Perfect
Where did you get the cerakote from? I’ve searched on the net and can’t find a supplier here in Western Australia
SLR coatings. They are in QLD. shipped to me in VIC no probs.
@@G9Garage awesome thanks very much, love all your videos mate, you have inspired me to restore a rm125 that I have
Why have only just been suggested this wtf!
What solution do you use in your parts washer?
It’s just kerosene. Cheap and effective.
@@G9Garage Gotcha. That's what I figured! Great job as always, and thanks for the response!
yo i took my 125 apart for powervalve repair and now the plug sparks, makes explosion and gets wet right away
Hey you don’t need a sand blaster before painting
DID U JUST DIP YOUR HANDS INTO THE ACITONE LIKE whoopsies
Why not blast the crank case?
Didn’t want to strip the engine completely. Full resto then yes. This build, no.
@@G9Garage Ok. Btw your voice reminds me of Rocket Jump Ninja.
never trust a seller if he says that he's done a rebuild but doesn't have receipts to prove it
Hello
What dimensions does the oven have inside?
I don’t have the dimensions handy but it is a 60L unit purchased from eBay
New piston?
The one in it was nearly new!
Hi I’m looking for parts for a SUZUKI 125rm 1995
