Take this video with a 5 kilo bag of salt. Cyprinodonteforms is a broad group on the same level as Carnivora, which is the group of mammals which contains not only cats and dogs but also walruses, bears, weasels and skunks, in other words its a very broad group and its not good to generalize all non - livebearing toothcarps as killifish. Because it is such a broad diverse group most of the facts presented are untrue for vast majority of cyprinodonteforms. Also not very many of the images in the video are really killifish although some are. Please don't present things which you don't know about as fact.
Hey, Michael! Would love to hear more about this! We always try to be accurate around here though when we get such general requests things can get a little difficult. We always try to make it clear, especially with these larger groups of animals, that there's diversity and not everything applies to all members. That's why we say things like, "depending on the species". You're saying not very many images are really killifish, could you point these out? Could you provide some identification? That would help us and all the viewers have a much better understanding! You're also saying that many of the facts are untrue for a vast majority of cyprinodonteforms, what are you speaking of specifically? Could you provide some links to scientific research to guide us in the right direction? Looking forward to your response and hope you have a wonderful day
