The church and cemetery was really nice and quaint, we're always looking for those when traveling. That was a pretty perfect boondocking spot with beach access.........hard to beat that!! Happy Trails 🦮🦮
Beautiful camping spot! I would love looking at the water! Poor Maggie looks pitiful sitting in the back by herself! I'm surprised she will sit back there. I understand Mama can't ride with her sitting in her lap 24/7 for comfort and safety reasons! Glass bottle house was interesting! Loved the door with tiny bottles! Safe travels!
I think I’ve said it before - your videos have such a nice relaxed feel about them. So much fun to watch. Love the music too. The bugs and the rain can’t make a dent in the goodness. I’m enjoying this trip too.
we stayed at West Point Lighthouse bed and breakfast and the service was great. Their Morning Cook should be AWARDED " The Best Ambassador of PEI" their restaurant on the drive in there served the BEST clam chowder in the 17 dishes I tried on the island
Your pot pies looked good! That oldest church looked beautiful for being the oldest. Beautiful area too! What beautiful flowers and love all those glass bottles.
Loved the views of the church. Old building are so much more interesting than the new ones. We were startled to hear Maggie bark but glad she got a bite. Happy tails and safe travels.
Hey folks good to see you 're enjoying our beautiful East Coast , we made that trip last year and loved it !! When you get to Newfoundland - Labrador there is a spot just northeast of Bonavista the John Cabot Municipal Park that l think you will love . It's in the area of the Cape Bonavista lighthouse and not far from the Dungeon Provincial Park also .Going down from there you don't want to miss viewing the Puffin Colony either . L'Anse dux Meadows , Petty Harbour , and Cape Spear are also must sees !!
Sorry you're having so much rain on your trip. We are getting more rain than we have ever experienced in the Maritime provinces this summer. All the rain brings on the mosquitoes, too in the rural areas. Hopefully, the weather will improve on your trip to our pretty part of the world. Safe travels!
There seem to be a lot of back roads on this trip so we are both really glad we got the lift and yes it has helped with the stress level for me (Lynn).
there has been way more rain this year back home, it is very unusual. You will see it as you go through Nova Scotia and Newfoundland as well. It is nothing like down here in North Carolina, you can open your windows at night up there and let the ocean breeze blow through!
Love the red soil and how , green this looks on my channel!! I hope you three enjoy the area and your campsite ?? As always enjoy your channel. BS & BK & BC
I'm am laughing so hard! Owen said like hot pockets. I loved those things when I was a kid, So bad for you. Those pies looked far superior and tastier than hot pockets, especially the chicken pot pie one. My favoirite dish that I continually seek out. Probably should have waited till the end of the video, but chicken pot pie food distracts me. LOL. PS. We took a two-day escape to Hillsborough River SP and I made your cast iron skillet ribeye steaks. We both did a happy dance. Delicious!
The handmade pies were far superior to hot pockets, but kind of the same concept. Chicken pot is one of my favorites too, and this one did not disappoint. Glad you liked your steaks.
That road you went down it needed to have 2 lanes. Or something. I have turned back too after there being a lot of bugs. Glad you found another lighthouse to stay at for the night! Beautiful lighthouses. I love lighthouses. Nice you stayed out for the night with it raining. It’s good book or movie watching day! Lol! Sleepy weather to me too! It makes me sleepy. Where’s my burger? Lol! Owen always makes great looking burgers. Have week and weekend and safe travels and see you soon!
Hello you 2 PEI is such a wonderful province with beautiful landscapes. Sorry that you have a lot of rain! If you like lobster its a great place to try some. Also for having been there in august you maybe see a lot of bluberry on sides of the roads. For being a fan of Ann of green gables novels there is a place you can visit about it if i remember it s in Charlottetown Thank you for your awsome videos!
The Catholic church, the Notre Dame de Québec, was built in 1633 by during the time Samuel de Champlain was in North America. It burned down and was rebuilt in 1647. I believe it is the oldest church in Canada. That one might be the oldest on Prince Edward Island though.
Hey Friends! What a wonderful place. PEI has been on our list for a long time (since we watched Anne of Green Gables on PBS years ago.) I'm so excited that y'all are going to slow down and visit with us more often while you are there. I have a friend whose aunt has a house at the very tip of Maine (she says you can see Canada from her aunt's house). Anyway, they won't go there until September because of the flies/bugs being so bad at that time of year. I'm sorry they're bothering y'all, too. Thank you so much for sharing this trip/beauty with us! So picturesque by the lighthouse! Sorry you got rained on, but the video was still beautiful! (I really appreciate that the horizon is always level on your ocean shots...yep, I'm a little OCD😆...y'all are amazing. Much love from SC, Jane ❤🙏
PEI has been a special place, it is so beautiful here. The reason we decided to show more of a daily video is that is what we want to be able to look back and remember all the little things not just the highlights. There’s been a lot of rain but not all the time but it does make the bugs worse, but if they are really bad we just go somewhere else. I hope you are having a wonderful summer. Much love!
Wow! Those aerial shots were beautiful and the glass museum was adorable. It looks like you three are having a great time visiting our neighbors to the North. Does it seem like Canada has a lot more places to pull off for boondocking? Enjoy the rest of your travels.😉🚐
Running into someone on a narrow road is my biggest fear as well. Especially when the drop off on one side would be deadly. So jealous of you guys right now.
The bottle house was one of the biggest surprises for us when we went up there. Wasn't expecting just how much work went into it and how everything came together. Our visit there was cut short because of Hurricane Dorian - Had to evacuate the campground (Cavendish NP) with about 2 hours notice to get off the island (Sept. 7, 2019). Enjoy the rest of your trip.
Sorry you had to cut your trip short, we got a hurricane treat for next week, I don’t think it’s a major one but it is scary and hard to know what to do.
Were the hand pies similar to the Michigan pasties? When we were back there the first pasty we tasted was not very good but after we took the ferry and toured Pictured Rock we tried another one and it was really good.
We do too!!! Well.. the Ekko... she still has warts but all in all she's holding up well. We just had an issue either the step not working but fixed it today. Other than that it's been the perfect rv for this kind of trip.
Great video you two. We were out to West Point Lighthouse yesterday and big sign in parking lot saying "Overnight parking for Lighthouse Inn Guests only". Was that sign there when you were there? What was the name of the first lighthouse that had all the bugs? Tks!
you are doing lots of boon docking, nice to have free campsites.
The free campsite have been awesome!
Beautiful sites. Nice video, enjoyed seeing the church, garden, and lighthouses. Hopefully the rain ends for yall. 🙂👍
The church and cemetery was really nice and quaint, we're always looking for those when traveling. That was a pretty perfect boondocking spot with beach access.........hard to beat that!! Happy Trails 🦮🦮
That church was awesome. Our kind of fun and the lighthouse with a beach was fun too.
I hate making Maggie sit in the back by herself. I still let her sit on my lap sometimes. But she is safer in her set.
I’m so happy you are having a great time in the Maritimes!!!
So far it’s been great.
WOW… that drone footage was incredible!😊
Thank you, we appreciate your comment.
I think I’ve said it before - your videos have such a nice relaxed feel about them. So much fun to watch. Love the music too. The bugs and the rain can’t make a dent in the goodness. I’m enjoying this trip too.
Thank you for your kind comment. You are so right the bugs are not going to squash this goodness.
I had a great time talking to the gardeners there at " the bottle houses"
The gardenens were as impressive as the bottle houses.
we stayed at West Point Lighthouse bed and breakfast and the service was great. Their Morning Cook should be AWARDED " The Best Ambassador of PEI" their restaurant on the drive in there served the BEST clam chowder in the 17 dishes I tried on the island
We will have to put the bed and breakfast on our list for next time, it sounds awesome. Thanks for sharing. .
Your pot pies looked good! That oldest church looked beautiful for being the oldest. Beautiful area too! What beautiful flowers and love all those glass bottles.
I love chicken pot pie so the pot was my favorite, i would love to try them all.
Loved the views of the church. Old building are so much more interesting than the new ones. We were startled to hear Maggie bark but glad she got a bite. Happy tails and safe travels.
There was so much detail in that old church, I’m sure we did not capture all the beauty. I also have a love for old things.
How absolutely beautiful this video is. Thank you so very much for sharing. Safe travels and of course happy tails! 🤩🙏💕
Thank you Jill for your kind comment.
Loved the drone video of the old church! 😍
That church was spectacular! I hope we did it justice.
Lynn, nice maui jims you are wearing. Juanita calls me a sunglass snob. I tell her i love the quality of those glasses!!! David and Juanita ❤️❤️
Love my Maui Jims too. I wore Walmart $5 sunglasses for years, but now i can never go back.

Such a beaitiful place and peaceful video. We are starting the western portion of the island today.
Have fun, it looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day.
Watching your video made us homesick! loved the aerial shots of the water. Sorry about the bugs. Looking forward to your next video. All our best!
I can understand why you would be homesick… it’s a beautiful place. You will be in the next one. Again thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

My friends went in May and June. LOTS of rain and chilly weather then.
We have had some good weather too, and when it does rain it’s not al the day. But it bugs sure love it. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
Fab video!
Thank you!
So many beautiful places yoir sharing with us. I bet the new lift and tires have lowered the stress levels on some of those roads. Thanks for sharing.
There seem to be a lot of back roads on this trip so we are both really glad we got the lift and yes it has helped with the stress level for me (Lynn).
Love old churches and cemeteries. Those bottle houses were so cool.
Mmm - hand pies are yummy! Hope you had a wonderful time on PEI. Can't wait to see the rest of your time there - enjoy!
We loved our hand pies, it was great seeing the made and they were served nice and hot. Thanks for following along.

We have really enjoyed the cool night air. Great for sleeping. I think we only used our AC twice and both of those times were for Maggie.
Love the red soil and how , green this looks on my channel!! I hope you three enjoy the area and your campsite ?? As always enjoy your channel. BS & BK & BC
That red soil was beautiful. But required a little extra cleaning.
Your little doggo, Maggie, steals the show! A real cutipie! 🐶
Maggie is pretty special.

Owen is great at making burgers… I don’t even like ordering them out anymore because I likes his more. Thanks for athicng.

I don’t blame you for liking Owens burgers more! His burgers do look nice and good!
Loved your video, very pretty
Thank you, we appreciate you watching.

Canada has way more boondocking spots than we have on the East Coast. We are loving all the great spots.
Running into someone on a narrow road is my biggest fear as well. Especially when the drop off on one side would be deadly. So jealous of you guys right now.
I totally agree with both of your fears, a drop would make it so much worse. I think we would be backing out. Hope you guys are having a great summer.
Such a nice video ❤️👍
Great to see Maggie enjoying Canada.
Love all the different lighthouses. The burgers looks so yummy
There are so many lighthouses on PEI, we will be showing you a lot more.
I wonder if they have Prince Edward in a can ?
They should let him out.
Thanks for the laugh, I’m sure Owen is going to use this one.

What are you using for internet service on the road?
We are using Starlink.
The spice may have been curry. 🤷🏼♀️
Good to know. It was good what ever it was. Thanks
Were the hand pies similar to the Michigan pasties? When we were back there the first pasty we tasted was not very good but after we took the ferry and toured Pictured Rock we tried another one and it was really good.
We’ve never had Michigan pasties so I’m not sure, but these hand pies were really good. Reminded us of a hot pocket.
Love PEI mussels (cultured)! How's the EKKO holding up?
We do too!!! Well.. the Ekko... she still has warts but all in all she's holding up well. We just had an issue either the step not working but fixed it today. Other than that it's been the perfect rv for this kind of trip.
It must not be cold if there are bugs?
It’s been nice and warm during the day but cools off at night.
Great video you two. We were out to West Point Lighthouse yesterday and big sign in parking lot saying "Overnight parking for Lighthouse Inn Guests only". Was that sign there when you were there? What was the name of the first lighthouse that had all the bugs? Tks!
The bugs in Canada is because of the wetness and being near the water what do u think eyh? Lol
I agree about the bugs being in the wet parts. Most of the time it was not an issue.
Would love to van it up to Canada, but cannot take my firearms with me.
Do you provide GPS coordinates of your boondocking spots??
Have not to date. Most spots are already in iOverlander.
@@VANTREKKINGlifestyle Ok, thanks!!
