It's great to see two of my close friends there with you and I'm fortunate to have met them during school days when guitar was everything to me. Alem, a mentor and ever experimenting on new stuffs. It was annoying at times but that's how he is 🤪 by the time we end up playing a song, he'd have already figured some new chords 😁 an encyclopedia of guitar chords! That was almost 20 years back, I can just imagine the level of musical genius he's attained now.
With regard to Yanger, it was always fun and hilarious moments if he's around. For me, I've never had the pleasure of knowing nor got to play with a punchy bass player as him. 5 secs into the number and he'll lit the stage on fire! Its pointless talking to him about timing or off beats! he literally authored the textbook! I still remember the time they were rehearsing for a gig, he would keep stopping the band halfway if the drums or guitars slightly missed the beat which normally would have gone unnoticed!
I don't play music anymore but a quality he had back then, and me as an amateur, there was this feeling of confidence on stage if he was around...back then, most bands would get disoriented without proper input system. He had the ability to bring all players to norms live on stage!
With regard to ur song Itaya Nungu, the lyric, the music is a masterpiece. My only negative opinion is, this song should have never had an ending ❤
