    I remember going through there in the 70's heading to Globe. It was amazingly beautiful.

    Ran that road back in 85. No jakes 300 cummins, only had 43K in the box. That old truck sure done some screaming back in those days. First 10 years was without jakes. Never again, lifes so relaxed with jakes. But sure get the blood pumping back in the day without jakes.

    Wow…fantastic views of the canyons, and there’s nothing like the honk of a fellow trucker as he passes by, except maybe a real handshake

    Yup! We drive that road several times a year going back & forth to ShowLow from Tucson. It never gets old because the scenery is so beautiful 🤗

    That was the most dangerous road I ever drove on. And, that was the same trip that a red truck with a cross on the hood passed me by on I 10. I remembered that truck because of the cross. Later I was watching some travel videos, and saw that truck again. Turned out it was Sasnak. Been watching ever since. Thanks!

    Music is spot on, as usual, as well as everything else. 👌🏼

    Super ending. I saw that road on the map and knew I would never take my camper that way. Brake replacement are to darn costly.

      Conway, do you think you could drive that highway like that trucker did? I know big Stan could. I would drive it with one of my vehicles if I was trying to escape a Sasquatch!

    A truly amazing road. Rode it with my son on our motorcycles this past May just after it reopened due to wildfires. You brought back great memories. 👍👍 Here's what it looks like on a motorcycle: ua-cam.com/video/wFkaZRKmsik/v-deo.html.

    • @bobwilliams3502
      @bobwilliams3502 2 роки тому

      That’s exactly what I was gonna tell Stan. Rodeo Reed out of snowflake hauls cattle up and down that road all the time. If you want to hear Jake brakes tune in to his channel.
