Jerry, I am a long time viewer (8 years or so) and first time commenter. I truly appreciate your cogent, insightful, and often humorous (that's the 'No soup for you move') comments. The impetus for writing today is my perception that you bring a Capablanca approach to these tutorials- simplify, simplify, simplify. I am so much better off in my understanding of chess thanks to your approach. Best wishes to you and thank you for years of education and enjoyment
Dear Jerry, FYI and to remind you(so that you know), all the love you get from your fans that you might think is for all the wrong reasons like your voice, style or gentlemanliness(if that is a word) is true but the main reason is always the amazing Chess so amazingly simplified that your fans get an access to & learn from(its simply top notch stuff. We all actually love you for primarily the brilliant chess and ofcorse the other things!
Been taking my game a little more seriously as of late. These videos are really nice and engaging to keep me aware of ideas and positions. Thanks for the work you do Jerry!
I enjoyed it. Your analysis is always helpful. Fischer was the man when I was a youngster. Kasparov and Carlson I don't know so much about. BTW, I appreciate it when you avoid long digressions from the progress of the actual game.
Thanks for your efforts! Besides a great commentator you are also an excellent teacher of the game. I notice in this game Fischer had made no mistakes or inaccuracies with a 97% accuracy and an amazing average centipawn loss of 10. When examining other games on Lichess its a very rare achievement. As a club OTB player, my best win against a worthy opponent is 95% accuracy and 15 ave centipawn loss after he resigned on move 33. But I'm learning with your content.
Damn. To see ahead to 35. Qb3 is just incredible to me. What mastery of positional strategy leading to overwhelming tactical superiority. Great video, Jerry.
14:41 that is the saddest group of pieces I've ever seen you can probably resign right then and there. Every single piece is dominated by their white equivalents it's just a formality to play on by then.
hey Jerry I love your content and advice! I'm always glad to watch a video of yours. im unsure about your choice of ai generated art for your thumbnail. ai generated art often "borrows" directly from artist's works who won't get anything from the ai's lifts. it's ultimately not a huge deal but I thought you might want to know!
I don’t really get why 27. … Re8 followed by Be8 maybe Bg7, pressuring white backward pawn on e4 wasn’t played / is bad, after moving the queen or king because of Kf6+

Pretend the files are numbered 1 to 8 instead of A to H. If a square's rank and file are both even or both odd, then the square is dark (e.g., a1 to h8). If one is odd and the other is even, then the square is light (e.g., h1 to a8). When castled kingside, the White player has to watch out for the Black player's light-square bishop attacking their pawn on g2; the Black player must watch for the White player's dark-square bishop attacking the g7 pawn. Inherent asymmetry in the board setup.
You don't like leos because you perceive them as too self confident. Possibly blind to their own shortcomings. You're not wrong about them. You're just wrong about your reasons for not liking them.
jerry, i've learned so much about chess from you over the years. you're a legend, man. keep on keepin on
I don't know what we did to deserve all these analysis videos recently! Thanks Jerry, from everyone

The Octopus Knight has 3 hearts, pretty hard to defeat him on d5. Strong piece. Great summary. Keep up the good work.
0 inaccuracies,
0 mistakes,
0 blunders,
97% accuracy,
more than 60 years ago.
Love to see the "tale of the tape" at the end! Only a 10 centipawn loss for Fischer. Amazing.
Your piece by piece commentary is priceless. Helps me understand things I didn’t think about or see. Thank you for helping me improve my game.
👍
Hi Jerry it's everyone.
Lol
😂😂😂😂
Hi chess board it's player

That Queen trapped in the corner predating Alpha Zero…
I was reminded of that game too.
Why is it that every game, Bobby just makes it look *so* easy?
excellent stuff, this will form the basis of my lesson Monday after next. Thanks Jerry.
Fischer was on a different level when it came to chess.
Beautiful analysis Jerry. The only thing lacking was you pointing to a half dead piece and saying “Look at this clown over here, what’s he doing?”
Bobby Fisher retreats his queen twice. Consider it a moral victory.
Ed Wood presents: Knight Of The Octopus.
Fischer knocked his lights out!
That knight was a monster!

Jerry uploads going crazy let’s go!!!
31. a3 is such a disrespectful move :D

THE OCTOPUS KNIGHT!!!
97% accuracy! That's good!
Fischer’s Octopus Knight strikes again!
What an amazing game! I learned a lot watching it. Thanks for sharing!

Great video, Jerry.
The coolest a3 ever 😎
6:35 "lightning [could] strike" if White does not play Kb1, Black may play Bxa2 then follows up with Nb3 fork.
Always great,thanx jerry
14:37 I laughed as crazy 😂
14:39 The black king is locked in with the in-laws. Very sad.
Can't watch now. But I can give like now and I just did that. Best chess channel around.
Great content, yet again. Kudos to you sir.
Well done Jerry. Keep up the great work. You are a huge asset to the worldwide chess community and I say that sincerely. :)

Agreed. Reminds me of Ivanchuk's immortal vs Kasparov
Agreed...
Ty❤
nicely explained
Thank you 👍
The valuable, wise lesson. 👂
My main takeaway from this game is Fischer was better than I'll ever be 😅
When black plays d6 and e5 in the sicilian he needs to make sure white does not get an octopus knight on d5.

If Bolbochan was an IM at this time then he was cannon fodder for Fischer. Those Argentinian players sure love the Najdorf.
that 14:59 h3 move is I OWN YOUR ASS
Very cool 😎
Whao all this good stuff for free... its like here's a chance to become world champion.
Can u plz share us your lichens board settings
