An anvil that floats! And light enough to be carried on a plane!

You may want to research the definitions for 'free', 'easy', 'DIY'', and 'Anvil' because you got them wrong.
Great video otherwise though!
This is entirely unusable for the purpose of being an anvil. It's got more in common with a shelf decoration. The posting of this video is not April 1st and that definitely surprised me. Why is it compared to a $1000 anvil in the thumbnail? If you're going for satire, then at least disclaim it in the thumbnail, or title, so people do not waste their time.
This is what happens when someone who has no idea how or what makes something good, designs something. You made an anvil with no mass which will absorb most of the energy put into it. Anvils are supposed to be dense, so inertia from a hammer isnt transfered into moving the anvil, and secondly they are supposed to be solid steel so that energy wont deform the anvil (which would make it wear out and be useless for one) so again all the energy of the hammer blow goes into the hot iron and not the anvil. Not to mention this anvil would slowly destroy itself anyway as the high heat of forging would deform the wood or straight up set it on fire lol
This is sarcastic yknow.
Nice job 👍🏻😊
Thanks Les. Greatly appreciate that man.
If you can't use it as an anchor it ain't an anvil. You need a large amount of weight to keep it from bouncing off and breaking your neighbor's car window. I thought it was plate steel at the beginning of the video until it burt when you put an arch over top of it. I'd call that a decoration.

Not to be rude man but that's a nice decoration but it is most certainly not an anvil in terms of a tool well shot video but it's just not a workable anvil.
