Picture this, a lot of people do that, so that means all those phones get thrown away, which is all trash. Although, Apple is working on using old materials to make the newer phone in the future

The black doesn't stand out much, sometimes depending it may look like an android until you look closer, but its a clean phone and looks bomb in cases with writing or any decorations because of the black.
