Calgary is a very poorly planned city and it’s transit service is beyond horrendous. Vancouver and Edmonton is way better.

If you just need to take C-train only, then you are blessed. Because whether it's at peak times or at slower time, it has an honest schedule to guarantee its rider that they will get a ride to go back home or going to work on time.
But if you are happen to take few buses between, then your life is so sad, because the majority of bus drivers are irresponsible and very dishonest. I would not be so shame of myself for such strong words reffing to a big numbers of public servers. Because I myself experience with losing job due to fact that I, was relying on public system at some time. I had been waiting forever for a never showing up bus. Or had been walking long way home with an unused bus transfer.
Bus drivers who committed to this sin, now can learn what their unethical service can cause to their clients. And eventually to their job stability. Because, yes, the gas cost is skyrocket. But who can afford to lose job time after time because of their relying on an irresponsible transit system.
After all, if a Green city council want to be greener by their efforts to increase number of transit riders, they better to improve for a reliable transit schedule. In which, better supervising should be implemented.

Not safe city if u are struggler then so difficult to survive. People try to rob u and they don't understand how other person is feeling. Most of the people anyoning. Other hand, train and busses never come on time and there some people who drink in train and disturb to women 🥺👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 please don't come Calgary 😴
