Thanks so much for this!!! I am so tired of wearing running shoes EVERYWHERE. I just bought a custom pair for the summer. Super easy and kinda fun to play with the configuration tool.
Thank you my friend! I started this channel because there was so much lack of awareness for taller people when shopping, so it always makes me happy to hear my content provides value!
It's interesting that they only offer the larger sizes in the customization area ... I will keep this in mind when I check out other websites. Thank you.
Nice find!!! Would you say these run true to size or should we go up a size? Nike's can run small and narrow and I find myself having to go up to a size 16 depending on the shoe.
Sorry for the delayed response! I would say these are true to size. When I ordered a custom pair, there wasn't a size option for 18 and I wish I had ordered that. The 17s I have are comfortable, but they would be better if they were a little bit longer with the size 18, which is what I typically wear.
I am only 5'3-ish, so I wonder if they could do this on a gurl's 7 to 7-1/2. I will have to check them out. I would love to have a custom something or other. That would be totally sick. Thank you!!!!
I believe you can! When you finish customizing a pair and click buy it’ll show you all the sizing options, and I believe 7-7.5W is listed. If you grab some I’d love to hear back from you on what you got!
@@FreakyTallReviews While I haven't purchased yet, I did go in and set up a custom type with solid colors and one pattern. I then 'snipped' the selection and saved that to go back to later. My next step is to find a store around here - like in Cocoa Beach - that sells the same shoe and try them on to ensure a good fit. They measure in CM, so if you know the length of your foot, use a conversion of inches to CM (if you do not have a ruler with CM on it). I very much appreciate what you said about the back of your foot getting rubbed by the shoe but that breaks in after a while. I wear sandals almost year-round and so when I put my feet in enclosed shoes they scream at me, so comfort has to be the priority. The plan for these is to make them skateboarding shoes. The pair that I had are old and worn so a fresh pair is going to be great. And yes, at the end of your selections you select the size when you go to the cart. I also like they do custom shirts and hoodies. I will also explore those as well. I thank you again!
thank you so much i found this video through google asking for custom ordering shoes. do you know if nike does the same or any other company i try to order shoes/clothes my size and i see all these athletes getting clothes/shoes to their size but when i ask the customer service reps they act like they dont make these product for other tall people like were aliens or something
I'm glad it helped! I haven't found the mega-large brands like them to make anything easy for us. I'll do some digging to see what I can find out, but so far Vans has been the best bet to customize.
With Amazon getting sizes over 14 (I wear 16) isn't all that hard, not like it was in the 1990s where Foot Locker (for bball high tops) and big and tall stores were basically it.
Yeah Amazon is great, but I’ve seen a decline in options over the last few years. I used to have 8 pages of choices, but now feel like the section at my size has dropped dramatically. That’s why I was so pumped to find out that Vans can be custom ordered for no extra charge

same exact shoe size i tend to stick to new balance and some nike mixed in when they have my size.
Love this . . . Thank you!
Thanks, I never new about this!
It’s so hidden! Makes me wonder if other websites do this so I’ll be checking them out!
We would love to hear reviews for big and narrow shoes!

Right?! Idk why they tucked them away!
They do have a full range of sizes. After you 'custom' your shoe, add it to the cart and they will ask for your size there. 😄

Great review as always but still WAY too small for me…ugh!
