I am a Mugisu and has published a book on Gisu I mbalu. The traditional instruments used in i Mbalu dance are bells. Lack of bells makes the above dance less Gisu i Mbalu dance in nature. It is not cultural at all. It needs to be re- done with bells included as part of their music - then it will be Gisu traditional dance. Dr. Nafuma

Do you mean to suggest that in terms of music and dance, it is the Bells that intrinsically denote uGisu? If so, with what logical cultural reasoning is this so? One thing missing here is the guys what they´re Holding,its surposed to match their head crowns and the drums aren´t right for real kadodi,bulbs miss and the Hand things aren´t matching either and not so many beads on ankles and chest.
