- Cemetery Strolls, Episode 55. The Nutter family grave, Plus some driving around some very small country lanes. Alice Nutter was found guilty of witchcraft during the Pendle Witch trials in 1612. A trial that would shape many atrocities including the Salem witch trials 80 years later. This is her family grave, she is not buried here due to her being found guilty of witchcraft.

Enjoyed the wander Kev, how intresting to follow the story of Alice Nutter, enjoyed the country lanes too, albeit abit wet still a lovely drive. Great to see the weathered slab for the family grave and read up about the pendle stories, a sad history for poor Alice! Great video

It must be investigated with many detection tools, even metal detectors can be used if there are anomalies nearby, because not only metal detection can sometimes pick up strong magnetic fields and make sounds.
I'm all new to the investigation side.

The witch statue is really cool
It's actually facing the wrong way. It was facing Lancaster. But the locals didn't like their House's in any pictures. So had it turned around.
