These horses are from The Kings Troop, Royal Horse Artillery. Some are just over 15 hands.

A hand is equal to 4 inches. It has been used for centuries to measure horses from the ground to the top of the withers. My first horse was smaller at 15 hands or 60 inches.@@margarethany
