iprog pro infineon-can obd reset crash

Hi, I have an iprog+ came with OBD2 cable but seller said not to connect to 12v otherwise it will burn the tool, how did you connect yours? What's the purpose of selling the tool with OBD2 cable and saying not to use it?

Hi did the iprog need to power up by 12volts.? Or is usb power and obd 2 socket power enough

Maybe usb only, new pc may need double usb cabel
