I love the montana 3915, Do you think that when driving the camper , the rear of the RV drags against the concrete of the road (dropflame)?

We bought a new High Country back in 2020. This RV was moved from the dealership to the lot where it has stayed now since it was bought so the unit has not been moved at all.
The so called auto leveling system has never worked, not even from the 1st day. Then the unit has wiring issues which started at the first month or so and the dealer came out to repair it then, but now any repairs they say we have to bring the unit in for repairs.
Next the unit had faulty wiring in one of the slide outs and nearly burned the RV to the ground, which they had a recall notice after we located and repaired the burned wiring ourselves.
Now the refrigerator has gone out, who knows what will be next. Keep in mind this unit has never been moved yet has had a substantial amount of problems. Take my advice and stay away from buying an RV, either new or used. They are slapped together pieces of junk which are made to sell and then the problems are all on the buyer.
We regret buying this brand new Montanan High Country 39ft RV. I wished I would have followed my instincts and bought a new house instead. It would have not dropped in value and for sure the problems would have not been as extensive. I hope someone can read this before they take this down. If they would pay more attention to the quality of their units instead of putting out sales videos maybe these issues we have had would be addressed. Buyer beware, we will not be buying another RV new or used.

The difference between a High Country and a Montana are far more than “bells and whistles”. The only similarity is in name on;y. Two different coaches at two different levels. The weight difference doesn’t come from just “bells and whistles”.

I don't own either, but lets take a look....Things that are the same: Both have Dynaspan one piece floors. Both have Pinch rolled sidewalls with identical construction (luan/aluminum/foam). Exact same roofs from framing to decking to membrane. Same rack and pinion main slides and schwintech slides in bedrooms. Same axles and suspension. Same pinboxes. Same kitchen appliances, same interior wall construction. Front caps are the same construction painted in the same paint shop. Both offer generator prep, both have the same AC units. -------- DIFFERENCES: Montana has hydraulic slides and auto leveling, High Country uses electric. Montana has a bigger fireplace and nicer blinds. Montana has a bunch of "extra" wood trim and uses raised panel cabinet doors to appeal to older buyers. ----------- Yeah..... I'm guessing you bought a Montana and are very proud of it. You should be, it is a wonderful unit that has earned its reputation. Again, I don't have a dog in this fight, I don't own either, but I can read the brochure, have talked to Keystone, and looked at them myself. Plus, this is what every reviewer on UA-cam has shared.
