Hello, complete nooby here. Took a punt on FS25, never played any of the others. What a game 😃. So you are my instructor. Have watched this whole series. Your vids are great, love the chatter and that you ‘think out loud’. Only sad thing is that mine is on console, so only a few mods for me.
@@fionanaylor6104 ha awesome thanks. Good luck to you if I’m the instructor 😀😀 Yeah I understand there’s a bit of a difference PC vs console mods but still lots of good stuff available. Have fun, it’s an awesome game 👍👍
Yea, until we get through the years mod this is as realistic as we can play. And I can't wait for that mod. I'm still loving both series. Awesome content, my friend.
@northernfarmsim it was on fs22 you would love it. You start out in 19 somethings and you can only use equipment for the year, and as you go through the years, you can up grade for that year. Alot of mods tho.
its a Case i think that he custom painted. Its the same anyways both brands under AGCO but Fendt doesnt share its "gearbox" if not mistaken. I agree about the fields, good work and great video as always.
48:37 tip. Park the trailer outside the pit next to the wall and then drive into the pit with just the forage pickup attached to the tractor and the forage pick up will lock onto the trailer and spit the sialge into the trailer. Then you can easily get out the pit and attach the trailer when it's full
@northernfarmsim I thought you might have caught on to that idea when it started spraying silage into your front loader bucket and then into your forage trailer but you didn't 😆
I might be wrong but I do believe that the German word for realistic is “Realistich“ which seems like a great way for you to describe your play style in a cultured and worldly manner 🧐 btw, the green Case looks great, quite fitting color scheme with the large amount of forestry work in this play through 👌
Hey yeah nice one...could we add "ish" to the end of that word to reflect the "near realistic' method of play, lol. I love that Case also. It looks pretty good in this setting.
Install the trailer lock mod, its for locking the dolly so you can reverse somewhat easier. Those big tyres are great for compacting though you would think as they make less ground compression they would compress less but even in real life many use them for compacting, maybe its because you get a wider more even compacting.
@@incubatork I always forget about that mod, the trailer locker. Good call… I guess if the floaters are used for compacting it likely has a lot to do with the weight of the tractor…?
starting to look more and more like (at, on, in) Calm Lands. in a good way, don't get me wrong. the farm is extending, productions are busy, hired drivers roaming around delivering stuff, silos are sil-ing. good stuff, good stuff
@@s1vtre yeah I was thinking that at one point….I’m going to try to keep it a bit tighter than what Calm Lands became…that one broke me and eventually I just couldn’t bring myself to open the game save, lol. It was rough.
@@northernfarmsim maybe at some point, when you gonna start building big-boy productions, it worth getting rid of smaller things like silage pits and putting greenhouses on auto selling, sawmills on auto distributing.. things like that so you're not torn apart with all those little chores
@@s1vtre Yeah I probably should...I like the fermenting silo that came out this week on modhub, definitely dumping the pits for that. I enjoy moving the pallets but it certainly can be overwhelming when things are humming along.
@@ctman48 hey thanks, appreciate it 🚜😀 I’ve been cheaping out so far 😀 Once I have the property I want purchased and a harvester I’ll be able to amp up my forestry game. The yarder is the log zipline right? I love that thing.
As Written on the BKT website: "Flotation tires are designed not only to reduce the impact of the machinery on the ground and to prevent soil damage; these products also provide great traction, even in bends and when maneuvering. Their tread design allows great grip on any kind of terrain, fuel savings and optimization of field operations."
What I don’t get about the in game AI system… if I want to pay someone to do a poor job, I should be able to lol.. What I’m talking about is hiring workers for baling, harvesting swathed crops etc. if I can change their working width then let them just drive around the field…eventually they’ll get everything lol
I imagine we'll see the in game system upgraded over time...I think we can use course play to get workers to pick up bales. I know you can manually set the working width of a forage wagon for example to match that of a windrow and then the worker will follow the swatch and pick it up...not sure about emptying though...
