I just grafted my peach tree with shiro plum, nectarine, raineer cherries and two other peaches. Two asian pears and one apple on my pear tree. I have to wait a few weeks to see how they turn out. I was successful grafting navel orange and tangerine on my grapefruit tree, here in Texas but the freeze of 2021 killed my 15 year old grapefruit tree. I love your tree, thanks for the video.
Glad to hear it! It's a Dave Wilson tree that I bought at Mimosa Nursery in Anaheim CA. You can check Dave Wilson website to locate which nurseries they distribute this tree to. Main things to look out for are 4 branches equally spaced apart as possible (think North, South, East and West), and that each of the 4 branches look sturdy.
You can do a video grafting a few scions from that cherry tree onto the other and make it a 5 in 1 tree. They are part of the stone fruit family, Prunus, also.
@@backyardorcharddreams It gets exciting to try things. I have a Loquat tree that I grafted a month ago with 3 peach varieties and 2 cherry varieties. I'm planning on adding almond and apricot when the tree gets a bit larger.

My pleasure and thank you! I purchased the tree as a 7 or 10 gallon about 5ft tall and installed it in December of 2020. First summer 2021 produced a couple plums. 2nd summer 2022 about 30 pieces of fruit between the plum, apricot mostly and a couple peaches. This year bountiful harvest for all 4 varieties. Took 15-18 months roughly.
Besides the bags what else fo you use to deter the bus eating the fruit?
That's about it. Maybe some Neem oil. One thing I do that helps is to spray hose the leaves periodically to keep them clean.

That tree is hard to find. It's from Dave Wilson which is a commercial grower. They wholesale to nurseries. I bought mine a Mimosa in Anaheim.
