- As much as they butt heads over how they run things, Ningguang knows that Beidou is the one that understands her the most undearneath it all.

It was so important to me to get actors who can properly capture the many nuances of both Beidou and Ningguang in this comic. Eulyin did such a wonderful job capturing their characters in this comic, so I wanted to make sure I got people who not only plays the game, but is also familiar with how these women work. Both Molly and Hanna did wonderfully, far surpassing expectations I had for them. And that says a lot because they're both phenomenal at what they do.
Also huge, huge, HUGE credit to Kiwi for putting everything together. Majority of this edit was his work, with me only pointing out stuff he missed in terms of masking. The music, the transitions, the animations... It's so beautiful it makes me cry, man. Thank you thank you thank you for helping me with this TuT

As a Chinese, I am very satisfied with the way Ningguang’s VA pronounces “Baidou” it’s the best I’ve ever heard anyone say. (Well at least for someone that doesn’t speak Chinese)

What I love this comic the most, is the fact that Beidou was able to relate Ningguga's loss of the Jade Palace with her own ship. It takes a lot to relate to someone on very specific, the biggest thing is knowing how they think.

I know it's been a minute since this video came out but I have to commend the VAs. Ganyu only has a few lines but she's nearly indistinguishable from Jennifer Losi. Beidou's inflections and vocal mannnerisms are spot-on matches for Allegra Clark but the VA definitely put some Acting into it; there's a subtle vulnerability when she tries to give comfort the only way she knows how. And your Ningguang is a rock star; her voice is more elegant, but still conveys the air of a Very Important Lady. The softer voice, combined with the same attitude of "why are you still here I got stuff to do" is even more effective than the official. Those sweeter moments when she's agreeing to a lunch date with her best frenemy really pop. Plus that proper Chinese pronunciation that only a native speaker can pull off effortlessly is just *chef's kiss*

Moonchase event; Beidou and Ningguang publicly announced they hated each other, but when Xiangling said that both Beidou and Ningguang play chess and Beidou would always tell Xiangling how she and Ningguang gets along really well. So, this means that they're only trying to make it look like they hated each other because they wouldn't wanna admit they do get along with each other (and might like/love each other). There was also a official art from MiHoYo where Ningguang is doing paperwork/reading paperwork and is thinking about Beidou. In all honesty, I'm not surprised if Beiguang is gonna be canon, due to also Honkai Impact having an official wlw couple. MiHoYo be ready, cause I'm about to put the pieces together.
