- Right after the corination and becoming king of Albion, youre first order of buisness as King is to judge the fate of youre brother the evil ex-king Logan. Here I judged him with Mercy as he only did what he had to do as a king, not a person to the events that were going on around him. in Fabel 3

Yeah he doesn’t he did awful things but he did made some things easy for his brother you gotta give him credit he knew his brother was a hero but he also knew he had to become a man and hero to get the job done
I actually believe him when he says he's glad to be rid of the throne...

And did you know since there no prison or spire that your there for 10 years the hero is 17
Same... The throne visibly exhausted the man and almost ruined him.
But he was lying about building an army; it's painfully clear that he was blowing the nation's wealth on an elite bodyguard that only guarded him, meaning he considered his own life more important than his people's collective lives.
As an artist, I love King Logan's Character design.
Wolf of Rome ikr. It seems more like he's a child of Lord Lucien rather than the Hero Of Bowerstone.
I remember seeing a video about the game's concept art, and the main idea for Logan was always to depict him as this sickly anemic pale figure. It's more subtle in the final design they chose, but they wanted to make him look like the paranoia and greed were literally eating away at him. I think the concept designs did a really good job of making him seem like a villain straight out of a moralistic fairy tale

James Gibson I obviously chose to save my Fiance. Its unfortunate i married her though. The fact that she had a black baby kind of makes me wish i would've saved the crowd instead.

Logan was definitely a Lawful Evil ruler. He had good intentions, but his actions hurt evryone in Albion, and cause the people to hate him.
Unless a lich was helping or something, he was either do some fucked up shit to save everyone else or let everyone else die

This whole time Logan was never bad he was just trying to protect his kingdom from something really evil
He was selfishly blowing the treasury on a small, elite, army of bodyguards that ONLY protected him, rather than a grand army of regular soldiers that would protect the whole nation like we end up creating.

Page actually always convinces me to spare his life, even though i truly hate Logan for killing Major Swift! but her reasoning is way too good!
What drives me nuts about this story is that Logan never tried to tell anybody about the Crawler sooner. The novels claim that he assumed nobody would believe him, but considering the other insane shit going on throughout the land, that's a terrible excuse. Plus, the fact that he only opens up about Theresa visiting him after he's already been overthrown and is standing trial just makes it seem like he's lying to save his skin
Not to mention, most of the evil stuff that made people want to overthrow him wouldn't be practical in fortifying the kingdom anyway. On what planet is it a good idea to make children work in mines instead of sending them to school? You're ensuring that your future generation of soldiers all die an early death from lung cancer instead of giving them a well-rounded education that would make them better strategists. Instead of executing protestors, he should've taken their unrest as a sign that it was time to finally tell the public about the Crawler. The guy was a moron, and the fact that you can still save the kingdom while making every good choice in the game proves that he never needed to do any of this in the first place

had I been given the chance to judge him before I met the creatures on aurora, I'd have had him killed, but having leadership experience teaches you something, sometimes, you have to make unpopular decisions in the face of adversity, as much pain as it may cause, but it must be done

In my cost cases though blood is closer so if he’s my brother I’d probably be more merciful plus It’s not like he killed my girlfriend just three random stupid peasants in my play through

This scene becomes even more powerful when you decided to let Elise/Elliott die in the opening sequence.
Just one way F3 letting you either have vengeance or mercy over your own brother.
I never did care for Elise nor Elliot.
I usually let Logan kill the random people and Elise/Elliott.
They get on my nerves anyway.
The game doesn't care so why should I? XD

Years after the decision in an MP-Game with an friend i come to the conclusion, that it was a failure to let him life. Logan has to die !
None of his actions had a logical reason for his own narrative. In the beginning, he let you to choose to put your own girlfriend to death or a crowd of people. Why ? Just to taught you a lesson ? These people are his playthings and torturetoys for his short-temper behaviour and his tyrannical attitude.
And here, in the courtroom, he has the guts to pissing down your back and told you it is rain.

Logan wasn’t that bad he wasn’t the hero destined to save Albion it was all along the 2nd son of the last hero that was destined for this great battle so much like his father Logan did make it easier for us though
That’s a great point of how destiny is part of the story, in a sense it is the whole story of fable in general.

If only only if there father was there for this moment he’d be so proud of them that they are getting along for once even king will argue with there brothers sometimes and not get along even royal families won’t get along but wouldn’t there dad be proud they are getting along now and gonna fight the darkness together

One thing I never understood in the game, did the people of Albion care that the Hero and Logan were brothers?
I reasoned that I'd rather him pay now for high crimes than risk him living to challenge again or create a rival cadet branch to my heirs that felt itself cheated of the throne. It's the wiser decision in anticipation of a world AFTER the coming Darkness, and earns another victory in terms of public opinion throughout Albion. "This is my Albion" and the clamors of the populace for justice weigh heavily from that which they endured in his blind eye as a violation of Albion's social contract. Mercy, like empathy, is best used for the most vulnerable and powerless among us...never to excuse or absolve those that were entrusted with power. So, I rejected his myopic, Machiavellian means to an end and sentenced him to death.
In my opinion he’s Still your brother so unless you’re a heartless bastard and doing a pure evil decision play through In my case even if I was doing an evil play through I’d still spare him I mean blood is thicker than a bunch of promises made to a few people
Fable 3 is good but fable 2 seems a tiny bit better
Fable 2 is a lot better, and so is the first game.
Seems like it didn't improve on Fable 2, which was already an oversimplification of Fable 1, by making it even more oversimplified (in combat, progression, interactions with NPCs, etc.).
I played Fable 2 countless times and just now took on Fable 3 and I was "amazed" at some design decisions they made, so unpractical and makes you feel like it's a struggle to do things which were so easy to do in the previous entries. A pity since the overall charm of the universe is still there in the writing, dialogues, etc.
I would also say that I don't like how grey the game looks overall, where are the bright colors from the previous games? I get that it's a steampunk vibe but man, feels like they just put a grey filter over everything, making it all dull.
Logan: Abuse the citizens to gather the funds to save Albion

Logan did nothing wrong, logan is a hero like his mother and brother, he have to make decisions, become a devil to save the kingdom or be a good monarch and let all die.
Only the hero can be a good monarch you can be a good hero if you make a sacrifice of 14 million gold you can be. A good hero but in Logan’s case he did all what he could do there’s only some things things you can do especially since your half the hero his father was but Logan’s brother was the full hero in this

Logan had good reasons to act the way he did, Loghain was just insane and paranoid over an Orlesian invasion when the darkspawn was threatening to destroy the entire country
honestly when you have to become king you understand why he made those choices. It doesn't make them right, and I still think a lot of them were plain cruel, buuuuut I can understand.
I chose not to kill him. Mostly because he's hot, in a villainous sort of way. lol

I never spared this guy, sure he could be described as Lawful Evil but he's still technically evil for the authorities he did which to me was inexcusable regardless of the noble reasons behind them.
I was just with mercy because I just think he was a weak man and a lot of pressure but they all my soldiers will be at your command bit always makes me laugh their royal soldiers they be at my command anyway way their families were treated badly by the game and they were kept in line by fear they're not just going to sling their hooks and March off to some undesignated location and just stand around just because I've had him killed
He means HIS soldiers, he had a separate army
