I am speechless. He is so brilliant I cannot describe it in words. Amazing how Poland produced so great pianists, Rubinstein, Zimerman and Blechacz, - not to mention Chopin himself.
This is one of the most outstanding interpretations of any Chopin piece I have ever heard, and that's saying a lot since this is not obviously a landmark masterwork of Chopin's. But Rafal has a command and mastery of Chopin that is so ridiculously intuitive that even a short, structurally simple piece like this is turned into perfection. Rafal Blechacz is an absolute genius.
@@bruno._.8301 Henle ranks it at 7/9, but I don't really agree with how they rank Chopin. I don't rank this above op.25 no.1 which they do, or equal to op.10 no.7, which they also do.
@@bruno._.8301 I agree but also depends of the pianist, for pianists with big hands the most complex could be the op 10 no 2, for pianists with small hands the most complex could be op 10 no 1
Without a doubt, the mastery of Rafal is beyond belief. Without a doubt, the best performer of classical music of this century. I must commend the excellent quality of the video as well as audio, the only thing missing is not being there in person to have witness the Master at work. Felicitaciones
Currently one of my favorite pianists on the scene. His all Bach disc is pure delight. I don't see that he is performing much these days but maybe I am wrong. His website stops in the year 2015. Does anyone know?
It has a lot in common with 4th sonata by Scriabin and Blechacz digs out the same "prestissimo volando" lying somewhere underneath. Try it from the 5:45: ua-cam.com/video/M___UFSZyDQ/v-deo.html
@victorkcliu2000 OMG!, A grave mistake, but involuntary! Thanks for the warning, because it would be a sacrilege to confuse the beautiful and arpeggio study 11... A greeting.
They warned me (from the administration of You Tube), if those videos up again, they closed my account. Neither my compatriots can see and possibly other countries of America. In Europe if visible. I am sorry.

We have excelent pianists.... Probably Polish and Russian piano school is the best, most virtuoso in the world
One of the GREATEST Chopin interpreters.
Zimerman, Rubinstein, Blechacz.... Everyone with a Polish soul is such a good performer! ❤️🤍

Brawo Rafał Blechacz. Genialny pianista, wirtuoz i wielki mistrz.

Blechacz made me appreciate this étude a lot more than I used to.
I agree..
It must be by far one of the most sublime and perfect interpretations of this study!
Bravo Rafal Blecahz !!!!
Pan Fryderyk Chopin jest dumą Polski! Cały naród jest z niego dumny! 🇵🇱
Brawo dla Pana, Panie Rafale! Absolutne mistrzostwo!
Such an underrated etude by Chopin.
my favorite
why underrated? is one of the best 🤣
I like his interpretation the best. This etude is definitely one of the hardest to play!
I actually think this is one of the easiest etudes in Op. 10
@@nicoheizmann8074 actually no, some pianists consider that this is one of the most difficult piece of Chopin

I like this interp. Maybe with a bit more clarity, it would sound better? But is already great. Bravo Rafal. Like him in Mozart too.

Digging-up that skunk Richard III was a REALLY grave mistake...lol
Hahaha, that No. 10 got me bad, I thought it was No. 1
I would love Zimmerman to come back to America, with a full apology for our useless, piece of TSA blowing up his Steinway for no reason.
ruined it
The paranoiac Security at the airport allegedly hacked his personal Steinway to pieces because it 'smelled funny'.
lol "paranoic security" sure
