Years ago, I sampled Coromandel precisely because of the white chocolate note! It was too powerful for me. I gave the sample to my 70 year old mum, and she gave it to my step-father! 😁
For me it’s Hermessence Santal Massoïa. Absolutely love it. Even my teenage daughter compliments this one!
Daddy by Aaron Terence Hughes is fantastic for the colder Winter months. Lots of compliments for this one.
For the last 5-10 years, my big compliment getters in cold weather are: Lancôme La Nuit Tre’sor, Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge, and Libre’ Intense.
Cruz del Sor 2 is very sweet mango ice cream scent. On me it leans feminine, but the UA-camr Tomielee said it goes masculine on her, so your skin chemistry may be different. It's probably one of the best mango scents that I've tried next to Sol Ge Donerro Mango kiss
Alien is my most complimented perfume along with Kenzo jungle elephant back in the day and HP by Dior, love these types of videos 💕 and you Clemence 😊
Contre moi LV and then Idole - Lancôme as well as musc noir by Narcisso. Also Joy by Dior, so very different and varied but people love these on me.
My most complimented winter fragances are :
- Acqua di Parma: Vaniglia (which unfortunately is being discontinued)
- Penhaligon's: Yasmine
- Maison Margiela: By the fire place
Got loads of compliments with Feminite Du Bois - Serge Lutens. Beautiful sophisticated and ultra cosy.
Silky woods was a love at first sniff so I am happy it is a compliment getter 😂 but Gris charnel sadly got me only hate:( love it but can’t wear near my husband or my sister 😢
Clemence, this video was very unique and so much fun to watch! I have been wearing BDK Tabac Rose more than usual since the weather has been colder.
My most complimented fragrances are: Allure ( Chanel ), L`Interdit Rouge ( Givenchy ), Miss Dior 2021 ( Dior ), Oud Satin Mood ( MFK ), The Only One Intense ( D&G ), Siwa ( Memo Paris ) and Libre Le Parfum ( YSL ).
I tried Hypnotic Poison for the first time 3 years ago. I liked the heavy almond. I bought a bottle later and it had changed. It was just a boring, powdery vanilla. I eventually sold it. 🤔

I love wearing Alien, it's so comforting and powerful. I have actually gotten lots of compliments on Coromandel 😊 it's so wearable. It always makes me happy wearing it. I could have gone on and on, cause I get compliments most days. Every Aaron Terence Hughes definitely - Slut is my latest, I won't say whether the name fits😂! I agree on Le Mâle le Parfum - I think the original is best, although I haven't smelt the elixir. Don't knock castoreum 😂 Angel's Share is one I don't like. It was the first Kilian I disliked and I actually think they've gone downhill since :(

Do you think Versace crystal noir has similar notes with bdk Gris Charnel? Or is this only my unexperienced nose? When I smell bdk Gris Charnel immediately I must think to versace Crystal Noir (edt), I don't understand. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think that if your nose tells you it looks like it then it does, it’s your own perception so you are right ! (Actually one perfumer told me that back when I was studying and I think he was right)
I didn’t feel it has similarities personally I smell more the cashmere woods in Gris charnel ! But that’s interesting I’m going to compare them !

hypnotic poison I smell as playdough mixed with dust, its terrible for primary school girls, no classy, I bought because of some review somewhere, I am trying to get rid off
