David Howard: totally agree. We have the same in blue with black interior and loves it. People should give it a chance . You get fully loaded for half of an Lexus RX price and it’s still stylish.
CVT has been very good to me, I don't have a major complaint about it, it feels smoother acceleration, and the new Xtronic CVT is so much better, taking off to the freeway feels like a sports car (if you floor it), V6 engine sounds ferocious and aggressive, and I really love the gear ratio change.
I'm in full agreement with that. There have been many situations on the road where people are less than courteous and my Murano's CVT responded to the demand when I put my foot down. That along with the sporty handling to get in between vehicles smoothly and efficiently. I could'nt be more satisfied and proud of this vehicle.
I have an 18 Murano. The CVT ain’t bad man. It sucks off the line, but when you kick down on it from about 40mph (I’m in the US sorry bro) the thing is a monster. You’d be surprised who you can keep up with or pass lol. Good vid bro.
I kinda baby my 2020, you have the CVT like the rest of Nissan's SUV line-up, but this Murano is packing a mill in front of it with a lot more HP & torque. Factor in a lot more vehicle weight on the other side, and the CVT, especially that belt, is now a really stressed-out critical part - E-Z does it!
If Subaru used a cvt for their rugged crossovers, I’m done with s cvt for MURANO which leans more to luxury than practicality and the CVT is perfect in that regard for a smooth ride BBTW MURANO SL matches the features of the top trim Touring XT for Outback for the same price and you don’t get a panoramic moonroof or 20” rims! MURANO excels at everything except off-roading with low ground clearance it’s my favorite
Recently went from 2017.5 Rogue lease to 2020 Murano lease. Bottom line, a longer wheelbase, heavier Rogue. Bigger diameter tires & higher ride height make it a better freeway cruiser. A bigger engine helps move the greater mass. Seats are almost the same as a Rogue - bottom cushions too short. All the thicker pillars reduce visibilty along with a smaller back window. Not as "agile" as the Rogue, you drive it more "stately". Oddly placed lower steering wheel spokes make placing hands on lower inside rim impossible. Stiffly sprung & oddly curved gas pedal is a mystery in design. One thing, 19 gallon tank much more practical than Rogue's 14.5. The choice is yours!

It took nearly 7 months after our lease ended to pull the trigger due to Covid and trying to decide amongst all the car options. Lol
As far as visibility's concerned, if you're a shorter driver there is a seat heightening adjustment to raise your seat. there's no need to struggle with visibility over that big long hood.
Hey i just pruchase a 2017 nissan murano SL with 51000 miles on it and its the same car as the 18 19 20. But only thing u didnt add was when your parking you can tap the camera button it shows the front of the car lol. I love it. A big step up from my 2012 murano

Great Video. I bought a 2020 Platinum AWD , but now worried about the reliability and the white interior staining issues. So curious to know if the car can go beyond 130-140Kms.
CVT transmission is for a retired person. That's why I like a murano since 2003 the 3.5 engine is proven to be bullet proof. Nissan put this engine in most of it's vehiclesfpr years! For me it's not about how fast the car can good, no it's all about going from from point A to piont B, and that's it all about cars were invented for.
I haven't had any issues getting off the line with the CVT. Sometimes when you gauge it against other suv's its a little slower. However by the time this CVT gets to 3rd gear you're speaking a completely different language. When that 3.5 V6 roars through the gears the story changes significantly. I've left alot of people in my dust trying to race me and I gotta say that they have a tough time keeping up.

I owned a 2016 SL with Cashmere interiors, completely gorgeous!! Unfortunately, I had an accident and it was totalled. I thought I coups never afford another. But with the discounts going on now, we were able to get this 2020 SL:)! And I am loving it! I like the elegance of my cashmere interiors on my 2016. But, this bew cashmere/black combination is more “sporty,” I guess:). I am with you, though. I don’t really like that faux trim. The 2016 one had a really nice faux trim, the lines looked elegant. This one looks messy.

We will get an occasional good snowfall (for us, that is. 😀 ), but typically cold with a possibility of sleet. I currently have FWD cars and they seem to get through our weather OK. I was wondering about the benefits of AND and if it was time to go that way. I'll ask again, would you please explain how the "Intelligent AWD" works on the 2020 Murano SL? @@benharrison1069 majority of the time the car will remain in fwd. The intelligent AWD has a censor that activate s the AWD when you are slipping and sliding. It then apply s power as needed to all four wheels

It’s not worth it. The s l trim is better buy. Platinum has diamond cut seat, woo , cool seat, s l only heated. Power steering wheel tilt and different wheels but same size. Not for 3000$ like you said. My wife wouldn’t mind the cool seats in hot days.

I have a problem with my nissan Murano, when I remove my foot from the accelerator and I am driveing over 25 miles an hour when it arrives to 25 miles instead of slow down will stay at 25 and minutes later will go slower I do not feel confotable with that, besides if I am not accelerating and is in drive will go 5 miles an hour withot me tocuhing the gas pedal, I purchase it a week ago and went back to the dealer and they said is normal but I don't think is normal I am 62 yeras old lady please help me to find out if is normal.
Ita totally normal. The car usually when running the ac in my altima will decouple the engine and transmission at 25mph causing the car to coast when slowing down or if you take your foot off the ledal at 25 or below. It gives the sensation of the car in neutral. If you have the ac off or the auto climate off the transmission doesn't decouple from the engine until you hit 15mph when slowing down. I can make a video for you. Idk if its the same for the murano.
I'm pretty tech-saavy, but I cannot find the Compass graphic in the display area between the Tach & Speedo. I've been thru all the menus, settings, re-sets, defaults, 500+(!) page owner "Encyclopedia", etc. but that sucker is still hiding somewhere! "Anyone? Anyone?"
@@carsunlocked- Oh, that's a good point! Thanx for that good thinking tho! I actually took the Murano to the Dealer, the Service Writer couldn't find it either. After checking around with other Dealership service people they came to the ccnclusion it only appears in the dsplay between the tach/speedo if the car has the full Navigation System (in the middle of the dash main display) - which mine doesn't. Oh well, a fun feature I thought it had but doesn't! 🙁
@@carsunlocked- It's an "S" AWD, they had a "special" 2-year lease on "S" in-stock ones. My Rogue lease was up, got a Murano for less $$ - longer, heavier, less agile than the Rogue, less visibilty but rides better on freeways. I worry about the CVT "belt", Murano is packing more HP & torque thru that belt to a much heaver vehicle. E-Z does it!

Murano has a higher ride height than Rogue. Drivers seat has raise & lower adjustment. Passenger seat is way lower, no raise & lower on "S" model.
i dont think you would have a problem in either vehicle but murano is a bit of a step to get into

I have a problem with my nissan Murano, when I remove my foot from the accelerator and I am driveing over 25 miles an hour when it arrives to 25 miles instead of slow down will stay at 25 and minutes later will go slower I do not feel confotable with that, besides if I am not accelerating and is in drive will go 5 miles an hour withot me tocuhing the gas pedal, I purchase it a week ago and went back to the dealer and they said is normal but I don't
think is normal I am 62 yeras old lady please help me to find out if is normal.

Ita totally normal. The car usually when running the ac in my altima will decouple the engine and transmission at 25mph causing the car to coast when slowing down or if you take your foot off the ledal at 25 or below. It gives the sensation of the car in neutral. If you have the ac off or the auto climate off the transmission doesn't decouple from the engine until you hit 15mph when slowing down. I can make a video for you. Idk if its the same for the murano.

I'm pretty tech-saavy, but I cannot find the Compass graphic in the display area between the Tach & Speedo. I've been thru all the menus, settings, re-sets, defaults, 500+(!) page owner "Encyclopedia", etc. but that sucker is still hiding somewhere! "Anyone? Anyone?"
it may not be selected as one of the screens. I believe you are allowed up to six so you may have to remove one to make room for the nav screen
@@carsunlocked- Oh, that's a good point! Thanx for that good thinking tho! I actually took the Murano to the Dealer, the Service Writer couldn't find it either. After checking around with other Dealership service people they came to the ccnclusion it only appears in the dsplay between the tach/speedo if the car has the full Navigation System (in the middle of the dash main display) - which mine doesn't. Oh well, a fun feature I thought it had but doesn't! 🙁

@@carsunlocked- It's an "S" AWD, they had a "special" 2-year lease on "S" in-stock ones. My Rogue lease was up, got a Murano for less $$ - longer, heavier, less agile than the Rogue, less visibilty but rides better on freeways. I worry about the CVT "belt", Murano is packing more HP & torque thru that belt to a much heaver vehicle. E-Z does it!
